We come here quite a lot just for a coffee or breakfast in the city center of mechelen. It simpel but neat decoration combined with the good quality food and service makes it a good place to go to.
Nice place to take a quick breakfast or lunch. Enough place available to sit down or upstairs. Near the major market place in historical center of Mechelen.
A quick good lunch. Very good service and nicely decorated plate.
We have been here several times . We had breakfast which has 2 coffees included but on asking fowner comes and with a raised voice aggresses us waving and showing an indoor sign asking customers NOT to stress the staff. asking for polite, quick, curtious service is not stressing it's expected in a cafe/restaurant environment, We will be finding another breakfast location from now on, avoid on market days and lunch as you will wait and wait and wait.
Wonderful food in a cozy atmosphere.
It is a regular place for a quick bite. Be ready to speak dutch :) it is a very local bar. On the plus side it is very clean and run by very friendly staff.
Cosy atmosphere, very fresh food, clear menu and prices. I like the people there and place itself in general. Keep on coming back since many, many years ????
