I've been going to the Kingsmen ever since its opened, and quite frankly, there's no other place like it in Boise. Amazing customer service, excellent professionalism, and you get what you pay for. The location provides a cozy and relaxing atmosphere. Locally and veteran owned, they truly care about their work, and it shows. If someone were to ask me where they could get a professional looking hair cut, I would without hesitation recommend Kingsmen Grooming Co.
Went in for a grooming service with James, the service and quality of the cut is unmatched. When going into a barber I don't only look for the haircut and styling, I also want the traditional barber shop experience. I have had the great pleasure of having James cut my hair 3 times now. Every time I go in the experience is beyond great. As busy as I can get. I always look forward to sitting back and letting James do his thing. I am not sure what I look forward to more, the haircut, the service, or the conversations. When you meet James you will know that he has an immeasurable amount of passion for his craft. His staff reflects that as well. I signed up for the monthly membership and I am looking to many more amazing experiences.
I’m real particular about my hair. It’s not like it’s anything special, but a good cut starts how you look. Moving to ID I was nervous I wouldn’t be able to find a barber shop who could cut my hair how I liked. I tried a couple different places and left each one unsatisfied. All this came to an end when I found Kingsmen Grooming Co. The barbers, yes all barbers, knew what they were doing. My haircut that day was on point and I’ve now been going there for four months straight. The place has a feel that makes you feel like you are an exclusive member to a secret club, which with the membership you are. I pay $50 a month and get my haircut every week, yes every week. If you want to get a great haircut and feel apart of a larger exclusive club go to Kingsmen now. If you made it this far you need to go now. Trust me you will not be disappointed.
I go here to get my beard trimmed. Emily is the one that you want to see for this service. She does a better job of it than Beardsmith does that I had been going to for sometime. She takes her time to make sure it is to your liking and that it is even an the edges are sharp and clean.
The facility is a bit small and hard to find. It is in the little mall there across the street from Edwards 9. Its on the ground floor level 1. Look for the barber pole once you get inside the mall.
Easy to make appointments. With the online form you can set up an appointment and I do like the Square payment system that the scheduler is part of as it sends text message reminders and ability to add to my calendar. Super sweet.
The owner of the place, James, is just a super nice guy.

As a man who takes pride in his appearance and who understands the importance of making a good first impression, especially when conducting business, Kingsmen Grooming has been nothing short of impressive. From the professionalism of each stylist, the royal atmosphere of the shop, amazing location, cleanliness, etc. to the precision and careful attention to detail of each service they offer...I have been more than satisfied with this barbershop. I live in this area for several years and the majority (if not all) barbershops I’ve visited could not compare to this establishment. Great service all around!

Kingsmen is the one.
I got a better quality haircut and beard trim then other places I tried, and a little cheaper too. The owner was great to talk to and had coffee and water if you get there early. Just make sure to book online.
I can't wait to watch this business grow and expand.
