1. Atmosphere: Multiple comments mention the great atmosphere at John & Son's Barber Shop. It is described as friendly and welcoming, making customers feel comfortable and at home.
2. Customer service: The barber shop is praised for its friendly and personable staff. Customers appreciate the pleasant interactions and good conversation they have with the barbers.
3. Skillful barbers: Many customers express satisfaction with their haircuts, stating that the barbers are skilled and able to deliver the desired haircut. This indicates that the barbers have the necessary expertise and technical abilities to provide quality haircuts.
4. Family-owned: The fact that the barber shop is family-owned is seen as a positive aspect. Customers appreciate the personal touch and the strong work ethic that is often associated with family businesses.
5. Reputation: Some customers have been loyal to John & Son's Barber Shop for many years, indicating that the shop has built a positive reputation and earned the trust of its customers.
Weaknesses:
1. Inconsistency: One customer mentions receiving a bad haircut even after leaving a previously glowing review. This suggests that there may be inconsistency in the quality of haircuts customers receive from different barbers or during different visits.
2. Lack of dependability: Another customer expresses disappointment in the lack of dependability and consistency at the barber shop. This could indicate that customers cannot always rely on receiving a satisfactory haircut.
3. Equipment issues: One customer mentions that the barber had some of his equipment stolen, and as a result, used a rusty pair of cutting implements. This raises concerns about the shop's ability to provide proper equipment for its barbers, potentially affecting the quality of haircuts.
4. Communication: The customer who received a bad haircut mentions that the barber did not communicate any potential issues related to the stolen equipment or the resulting haircut. This lack of communication may have contributed to the customer's disappointment and sense of betrayal.
5. Trust: The same customer expresses feelings of betrayal and mistrust after receiving a bad haircut despite consistently tipping the barber. This suggests that there may be a breakdown of trust between the customer and the barbers, potentially stemming from the inconsistency and lack of communication mentioned earlier.
Overall, John & Son's Barber Shop appears to have strengths in terms of its atmosphere, customer service, and skillful barbers. However, there seem to be weaknesses related to inconsistency, lack of dependability, equipment issues, communication, and trust. These weaknesses may need to be addressed in order to maintain a positive reputation and ensure customer satisfaction.

Best KBFKR Reviews

I had previously left a glowing review for this shop, but just after leaving that review, I got the worst haircut I have received in years. I came to him before a job interview, and before I sat down Jarod told me that he came back from vacation and someone stole his equipment so I might not get the best cut, and showed me a rusty pair of cutting implements. I still trusted him so jokingly said, should I make sure I had my tetanus shot? I mean if he seriously thought he would give a regular customer a bad haircut, he would say come back when I have the tools back that were stolen from me. All the men working chairs in the shop laughed at this and said I was quick with my response about the tetanus. They were joking, but I earnestly wanted a good haircut. Anyways I left with bangs, and to confirm this, my godchild and the mother of my godchild politely asked why I wanted to look like a monk. I don’t know why, I tipped him 20 dollars after that haircut trusting him, and later I was dismayed to find out my trust was misplaced. Needless to say, Bay State Barbershop is way better and I got a job after their haircut, not after Jarod’s haircut at John and sons where I gave them a good review and then they failed me. FYI I always tipped this guy Every time he cut my hair, except for the one time I forgot to bring cash, and the next time I payed him 40 bucks with a double tip, and I got the worst haircut ever. Do not go here for dependability or consistency, they get it right, and then when you trust them they betray your trust.
I wouldn't even think about going anywhere else. Great atmosphere, great people, great haircuts.

Went in for the first time today. All guys are very friendly, the atmosphere just hit home for me. Cory was the guy who cut my hair, I told him what I like and he cuts it just as what I wanted, perfectly done. will definitely go back next time.
John I am going through some hard times with my aunt .just the atmosphere @ the shop helps take the edge off john is a class act with a HEART of gold. I am not just speaking for myself hundreds would agree great kids & Corey also is a great asset to johns barber shop. Thank you John for a great haircut & a caring heart.
John is the elder statesmen. His son and his nephew are the next generation. All do a good job. Always crowded here. They use a deli number system, not appointments. It works and it is okay to say you are waiting for a specific barber - they don't mind. They just go to next number but you don't get shipped when that guy is up. Good haircut, good conversation, good local business.
Great atmosphere, good people!
