Couldn’t understand the high score at all!
The waitress was nice. However, the male staff (I don’t know if he is the owner of the restaurant), was so rude. Also, there were many tables available but he told us to sit next to the restroom, which was really cramped for two of us.
Apart from the service, we were disappointed with the food. The steak was too tough and dry. The fries are ok. The salmon with wifloof was also fair.
We do not recommend this restaurant and there should be better options nearby!

Fresh ingredients and cooked balanced, the amount is rather big.
Stumbled in here on a cold Saturday evening after the bartender at cafe de cat recommended it. Luckily we were able to get the last two seats available in the restaurant in the bar. Small cozy place with the daily menu written on the wall. We ordered baby top steak with mushroom and bernaise sauce and the beef stew. Everything was INCREDIBLE. The flavors were amazing and the portions were perfect. Also ordered a dessert that was delicious (cream, berries and meringue). Loved our experience and would definitely go back.
Stumbled across this gem on our last night in Antwerp. The waitress was absolutely lovely and translated the whole menu for us. We had the stew, cod with fennel and mash, and steak and chips, all absolutely delicious. A really lovely place, super welcoming and cosy.
Nice experience and lovely set-up. Food was fresh, well seasoned and in good quantity and bread was very fresh too. Was hoping however i could get a dessert or something but wasn’t offered any menu?
Slightly stuck on a Saturday night without a reservation anywhere, when we stumbled onto this place. A real treat. Lovely staff, delicious Belgian food and drinks. A gem!

Tho inside is not big so it might be handy to make reservations.
The volauvent is tasty and the service is friendly. It's a little bit expensive, but it's hard to find Flemish food under 25€. I would definitely recommend it.
