Jenelle and her team of stylists are hands down THE BEST that the Rockford area has to offer. Upon immediately entering the salon, you are greeted with a wonderful feeling of calmness and a truly relaxing feel. My stylist is Elise Thompson and she is incredible. She is so knowledgeable and is always glad to answer any questions. Her customer services skills are par non and she is always someone whom is willing to go above and beyond to make your time there a truly great experience!
Lorleanne is amazing! She asks what you are looking for and will make you love your new look! I got a color and updo trial for my wedding. I love it so much!
Just had my hair cut and colored by Lorleanne Ball. It looks amazing—she is a very talented stylist and is great at listening to and asking questions to get you to the look you want.
As soon as I walked in the door at home my husband said, “wow, that looks really good.” He usually doesn’t notice my hair cut/styles right away. Kudos to LB!

First time Jenelle worked with me. I asked for low lights she blended in my colors like that was my natural color, which I love. She styled my hair and said give it a few weeks if not happy call me, set up appt. And I can tweak it. I was happy with her..Prices were great, I will be back
I've been going to Hair Affiar for years! I absolutely love the team there. I usually see Sylvia for myself and daughter, but have sat with other stylists there as well. They are all so sweet and amazing. They never over charge, and make every experience comfortable. Not to mention my hair always looks great when I leave their chairs.
I have been going to Lorleanne at Hair Affair for the last year and have always had excellent services! She is so talented and always learning new techniques for my hair. The salon as a whole is always very clean and since re-opening during COVID I have always felt safe/that they were taking precautions seriously. Would strongly recommend!
I have had my hair done here for years. I have never been disappointed in my cut and color over the years.
I also see Stacy for my message she listens to you and focuses on the areas you need attention or if you prefer just a nice relaxing message while you nap I have done that too.
Then Sara is my esthetician for my facials, waxing, lash lifts, and back facial. I may have terms wrong but they figure out what I need and it is always relaxing no matter what I get done.
Just ask for what you want and they will figure it out.
Everyone is friendly, but after receiving the last in a line of uneven and highly disappointing hair cuts from Sylvia - after waiting 20 minutes past my appointment time - I will not return. Quality I would expect from a student, not a professional. Perhaps they do a better job on longer hair, but if you are looking for consistently decent service I would recommend you go elsewhere.
