Quick Facts About Gourmet Express

Gourmet Express, located in South West London, has received a range of comments from customers highlighting various aspects of their experience at the establishment. In order to assess the strengths and weaknesses of Gourmet Express, these comments will be analyzed.
One of the most notable strengths emphasized by customers is the quality of the food. Multiple comments express that Gourmet Express offers some of the best grilled chicken, humus, and shawarma in South West London. The taste and flavor of the food is consistently praised, with one comment stating that the shawarma is particularly outstanding. The affordability of the food is also mentioned as a positive aspect. Commenters note that the prices at Gourmet Express are reasonable and not overly expensive.
Another strength of Gourmet Express, as mentioned by customers, is the friendly and welcoming customer service. Despite a few negative comments regarding rude employees, the majority of comments highlight the friendly and helpful nature of the staff. It is mentioned that the individuals working behind the counter provide great customer service and are welcoming towards customers. This positive experience with the staff contributes to the overall positive impression of the establishment.
The neighborhood charm and love put into the food are also mentioned as strengths of Gourmet Express. Customers appreciate the cute and welcoming atmosphere of the restaurant, which adds to the overall experience. Additionally, the falafel is highly praised as the best in South London, further contributing to the positive reputation of the establishment.
However, there are also noticeable weaknesses highlighted by customers. One of the most significant weaknesses mentioned is the poor customer service experience. There are complaints about employees being rude and unprofessional. One comment specifically mentions an incident where a mistake was made with an order, leading to a delayed delivery. Instead of informing the customer about the delay, an employee was described as being argumentative and rude. Another comment mentions that one employee refused to accept card payments, despite another customer stating that they were able to pay with a card. These negative experiences with customer service can greatly impact the overall perception of Gourmet Express.
In addition, one comment highlights a negative experience with the quality of the food. The customer states that the meal they purchased was lacking in substance, with the kofta being thin and dry. They also mention receiving only one side of the torn pita bread instead of a complete piece. This negative experience highlights a potential inconsistency in the quality of the food, which detracts from the overall appeal of the establishment.
In conclusion, Gourmet Express has both strengths and weaknesses based on the comments provided by customers. The establishment receives positive feedback for their excellent tasting food, reasonable prices, friendly staff, and neighborhood charm. However, negative experiences with rude and unprofessional customer service, as well as concerns about the quality of the food, are areas that need improvement. These weaknesses can greatly impact the overall impression of Gourmet Express and may discourage potential customers from visiting the establishment.

Best KBFKR Reviews

Let's be real, you don't go to Gourmet for atmosphere. It's their matchless food that attracts customer. Their grilled chicken, humus, shawarma are the best in South West London. Small shop but excellent taste. Prices are nit bad either.
Without doubt one of the best shawarma takeaways in London. If you're passing by, go in. You won't be disappointed. Everything about Gourmet and their shawarma is to rave about. The portion and flavour is spot on. Please branch out and open some more places. Chilli sauce salad boss!
Extremely poor customer service. The bald guy with glasses in the front is extremely rude, has no idea how to talk to customers. My ordered was delayed because they made a mistake and instead of informing me about the delay, he asked me to hurry up and make the payment and argued about the situation. I do not recommend this place.
Unfortunately the person serving us at the counter was very rude and refused to take card payment and only cash, although another customer in the store said they had just paid by card.
We wanted to support a local business but alas.
This is the most tastiest and affordable lamb shawarma or takeaway shop in Collierswood to Wimbledon area.
I ordered a lamb shawarma, chips with salad and kofta and chips and salad for £15.45. Was super tasty, the sauces are amazing, great friendly welcoming customer service. Served fresh with salad, no complaints for any changes I had to any order. The guys working behind the till are so friendly and provide great customer service. The food is here super tasty and really great place to eat at. Has roughly 3 tables inside with about 9 chairs. But definitely tasty and healthy and serves all kind of grilled food.
Hands down the best falafel in South London, and I’ve had a LOT. Very friendly guys, a cute neighbourhood charm and love put into the food.
I thought I would get a decent meal, I was wrong!
I paid £10 for this meal and thought it would be a decent meal! Should have gone to Aya down the road.
The Kofta in this meal was so thin, and dry I am surprised they had the nerve to actually put it in the takeaway box. As soon as I picked up the box I mentioned to my friend that it felt quite light. The friend had decided on a Burger King instead of the Kebab House. They had the last laugh!! I thought I was being healthy and yes the meal was healthy because it was lacking any actually substance. Also they had torn the pitta apart and I only had 1 ply rather than the both sided! They had torn it in half and given me only one side!!!
Bad service over the phone, poor service on the counter, below average food and awful experience overall.
Only bought food from there based on their reputation from Tooting Bec Branch.
