Beer is good. Oh so damn good.
If you're a fruit beer lover, the choices here will drive you wild. Ask the guys for suggestions.
Reason for docking one star off is for the crappy burger I had. The cow died for nothing.
A central beer bar with a great selection. Nice to see some hoppy and US styles on the 30 taps, if Belgian Blondes & Brunes are getting old for you.
Also has a huge bottle list covering local brewers, US brewers like Ballast Point & Modern Times plus modern European brewers like De Molen & Mikkeller.
The house IPA is a great example of a US West Coast IPA, big and fruity.
Staff were helpful even with the language barrier.
From the sounds of the other reviews you shouldn't go there for Burgers, but the beer is great.
Nice atmosphere, the personnel is friendly, they speak English and some even French, burgers are good (!) with prices ranging from €9 to €15, a well organised beer catalogue and a great view from the terrace. A place perfect for a drink with friends or even a dinner in a couple.
If you like Belgian beers (craft beers) and burgers, Gollem is the place to visit in Antwerp. Large selection of beers, as you usual in Belgium, good selection of burgers, some very good combination burgers as well. Highly recommended it for a quick bite. Service is quick, friendly and no complaints from me.
This is the same family that owns Gollem bars in Amsterdam. Good choice of good beers.
Sadly, burger wasn't cooked well. More boiled than fried. Seemed like chef didn't have enough time to heat the grill properly.
Beer is good. Snacks are good. Everything else sucked. The fries were overfried. Literally, the small salad that came along w/the burguer was the only good thing. And that's coming from 5 people (3 italiangus, 1 bacon angus, 1 jamaican)
Nice place. A lot of different kinds of beer and super burgers.
The kind of bar I would love to own. Incredible beer selection, with house beers an excellent value. Food is cleverly concocted and beautifully presented. Our server knew the beer menu inside out, and was attentive and friendly. Ambience is industrial cool with exterior tables/stools of galvanized metal and washed pine. By all means make this a stop.
