A Belgian frituur is so much more than just a chip shop! Food here is fresh, hot, tasty, and well priced, with a bewildering range of variation on the theme of "chips with something"! I went for a simple burger, with a large portion of chips and a portion of stoovlees sauce (- that's a beef casserole cooked in beer) - absolutely delicious! And, of course, being Belgium, you can get a beer with your meal - served in the correct glass, of course. There's plenty of seating, English speaking staff and a menu in English, French, Dutch and German help to explain things. Recommended.

stoofvlees and fritjes very good and the view of the square was lovely plenty of room for our stroller outside

Loved it!
The owner didn't know his food by numbers (food listed like chinese with numbers), and we don't speak flemish. Staff are amazing and welcomed! We all had good laughs about numbers.

Ok so the food is good but if you order a menu be prepared to pay almost 20 euro. The menu includes a burger ,fries and no drink or sauce. When I realised that it's much cheaper to buy everything separately like 10 euro the guy just said our boss makes the prices. Dont buy a menu is my advice!!
