I've visited this frietkot for a long time now (15+ years), sporadically not regularly. Fries are still good, prepared food is just ok, not exceptional. Biggest issue: It is very expensive for a 'simple frietkot'. 75€ for 4 fries servings with 3 burgers and a few snacks (take out), is almost double the price of other frietkots in the wider region. Fries are supposed to be sold at democratic prices, it's only simple fast-food. 1€20 for a small (2oz) portion of (standard) sauce. These are prices you would find in the centre of Brussels. We did not get the bill (legally we should), so we could not check where the high price came from, or if a mistake was made.
Service-wise, they are clearly not in a hurry and rather slow to serve. For take-out, you will need patience.
It has been seen by some, as the 'best frietkot' around in the past, but objectively I can't see why. For me, not worth the money or travel any longer.
Conclusion: It is not bad, it's a clean place, and they have a lot of (self-made) preparations on offer (Too many to be practical?). For many, this would be enough. We ourselves, won't go back, as there's better, cheaper and faster that can be found in the region.

Vandaag heerlijke frietjes gegeten bij frituur den hoek. Mijn kebab schotel was van zeer hoge kwaliteit en kwantiteit. Proficiat aan de eigenaars en hun medewerkers.
De lekkerste frietjes, altijd vriendelijk en heel netjes. Ook veel keuze aan huisgemaakte bereidingen.
