Best KBFKR Reviews

This place is over rated. The price is to high. One thing I can say the nail tech by name is Melissa I believe. She did a horrible job on my nails. However when I sent them message about getting my nails over they told me that I will have to pay to get it redone. Oh really that’s was the end of it. Some people don’t realize black own nail tech do way better job than them. But in this case I will return back to four seasons mail again. That was the time.
The younger Asian woman uses African American Vernacular English which made me feel very uncomfortable-- she was trying so hard to be a black woman. She also kept cursing which was SO unprofessional. UGH Secondly, I told her a few times that the way she placed my nails was wrong as the acrylic was pointing up instead of straight ( you can see this in the picture with the middle finger). She ignored my comment and felt as if she was too good to change it. Thirdly, I told her I wanted different shades of a particular color but the colors she chose were not different enough, & instead of listening to me when I said that, she proceeded to ignore my request. She thought she was too good to change what I wanted changed--- never going back again. I complained on IG and my complaints were ignored. Go to a black-owned nail salon instead!!!
Updating this review ...been coming here for a year now and not once have I been disappointed. Jenny always does my gel fill ins. But I’ve had other nail techs and they’re all good. Had a gel polish pedicure and it was wonderful. Lasted a long time to. Was referred by front desk at Hilton. They did an amazing job. The man that works there did my manicure. He was super gentle on my sensitive nails and cuticles. Extremely thorough too. He took his time and I could tell he takes great pride in his work. He’s definitely a perfectionist. I got an acrylic fill in with gel polish. He shaped them perfectly. One of the best manicures I’ve ever had. Cost was affordable also at $30. They even finish with a hot towel and a hand massage. I come into Philly once a month. I’ll be back to get my manicures here or even make a special trip to this salon that’s how good my nails look
Very dirty. Equipments are super dirty. Service is fine. Very quick. But be prepared to insert your hands in filthy machines for a gel manicure!
Not the best place to go for mani and pedi. Last week, I spent $72 on GEL mani and pedi. As soon as i left the salon, i noticed they didn't really pay attention to the detail on the side of my nails. In less than 5 days, the edges are all chipped. One week later, my pedi is all messed up.
will not recommend. will not go back.
Jill was a lovely nail technician which is why I gave it 2 stars. But I'm extremely dissapointed as my gel manicure is already beginning to peel only 3 days after being done.
Edit: My polish has peeled completely after only 4 days. I'm extremely dissapointed.
Love my nails! Mimi did a excellent job the shape is perfect. Came at appointment time, no waiting or slow service. Love it
My new favorite nail salon. The salon is quiet. The staff is friendly and they get you in and out. I love the job they do with my nails.
UPDATE: This is still my favorite salon. I just wish they would put some security measures in place with all the violence in Philly. Installing a lock on the door to buzz people in would be good. It would be nice if there were enough cops to patrol the area. But, my nails are cute as usual!
