Quick Facts About Fashion Nails

Fashion Nails Place has both strengths and weaknesses based on the comments provided. Starting with the strengths, one customer mentioned that they are pleased with the look and quality of the work done at the salon. They also appreciate the timeliness and ability to go once a month for fill-ins, which is convenient for those with busy schedules. Another customer praised their ability to fulfill their specific nail design preferences. Additionally, there are customers who have been loyal to the salon for several years and appreciate the long-lasting results and the fact that their nails rarely pop off after a fill.
However, there are also several weaknesses highlighted in the comments. One recurring issue is poor customer service. Multiple customers complained about the rudeness of the staff, particularly one lady who was described as lazy, working on FaceTime, and breaking off the customer's real nails without properly soaking them off. Another customer was publicly embarrassed and discriminated against based on their weight, even before they had a chance to sit in the chair. The owner also exhibited rudeness, yelling at a customer and telling them to leave when they asked him to stop the pedicure and just paint their nails. These instances of poor customer service can greatly impact the overall experience and discourage customers from returning.
Another weakness that customers noticed is the rushed nature of the salon. One customer mentioned that it feels like they prioritize quantity over quality. This is exemplified by the situation where a customer was forced to sit in someone else's nail dust and then had their nails poorly done, with the drill set too high and causing discomfort. The same customer felt that the service was not worth paying for and decided to leave and find another salon. This rushed and poor-quality service can significantly impact the satisfaction of customers.
In terms of pricing, there are mixed experiences. One customer mentioned being satisfied with the prices, while another customer felt overcharged for a fill-in and received poor quality work in return, leading to disappointment and a sense of wasted money and time.
Overall, Fashion Nails Place has strengths in terms of the quality of work, convenience for busy customers, and fulfilling specific design preferences. However, the weaknesses lie in their customer service, which includes rudeness, laziness, and rushed service. Inconsistencies in pricing and declining quality of work have also been mentioned. These weaknesses may result in the loss of customers and negative word-of-mouth, ultimately impacting the reputation and success of the salon.

The only lady here is rude and broke off all my real nails because she’s too lazy to soak off her work. Everything here is rushed. On FaceTime the entire time she is working. HORRIBLE service. DO NOT COME HERE
I wish I could give it an ZERO! The owner publicly embarrassed me in front of EVERYONE in the shop. I was discriminated against because of my weight. I never even sat in the chair for her to even say this to me. I've gotten my nails done for over 20 years and has received numerous pedicures and I've NEVER in my life been told I couldn't fit in a seat. They are rude and disrespectful. I will never as long give them my money. Just disgusting to say the least.
This really was the worst experience I've had at a nail salon. I've been here once before, and last time it seemed like they choose quantity over quality. In and out seems to be their business motto. I walk in, and my Nana needed a refill and I needed a full set. They take her first, get her started and 10 minutes after, a lady walks in and they sit her down. I got frustrated because I was next, so my Nana tells one of the ladies that I was supposed to be next, so they sit me down even though they have no one available to work on me. Once I sit down I realize I'm sitting in a pile of someone's nail dust because they didn't bother wiping it off. The lady then proceeds to go back and forth between me and another costumer, she tried taking my nail polish off but did a very poor job. I was picking the remnants off while she went to the other customer, then she comes back and drills on only 6 of my nails, and the drill was up way too high it was hurting my nails. At this point I decided their service wasn't worth paying for, so we left and we are on our way to a different nail salon. They are in such a hurry to get everyone in and out the door, they do a half-butt job.
I came here for a pedicure the owner was doing it. I literally watched him pretend to push my cuticles back and clip skin. When I asked him to stop and just paint my nails that I didn't want a pedicure anymore he stood up and told me to get out. Started yelling at me in front of all of his customers telling me he was the owner and telling me to get out. Can't believe this guy still has a business I didn't say I didn't want it anymore I just wanted him to paint my nails I was even nice about it and he flipped out on me. Never coming back again.
I have been having my nails done here for a year now and am always very please with the look and quality of their work as well as the timeliness in which they get me in and out of there. I travel a lot for work and also have a very busy schedule with my children which make it impossible to have two week appointments for fill-ins. The work they do allows me to go in once a month and my nails look great the whole time in between.
Absolutely love this place. They are the only one who can do my nails and toes just like I want them! Made my daughter's first nail salon experience a great one. Will continue to get business from me.
I have been coming here for over 4 years. I can go 4/5 weeks between a fill. They ways come out good and very rarely does a nail pop off. My opinion best nail salon in Flint.
I have been a steady customer. In every two weeks to get a fill, diligently. Lately I had noticed a decline in the quality of their work, and when I went in yesterday it was the final straw. A fill in is marked as $14. She blatantly overcharged me, requesting $25. Now this would not be so offending, if my nails looked great! But they look HORRIBLE. In no way did they do the requested job, and now I am stuck with these overpriced, UGLY nails. Thank you Fashion Nails, for wasting my money, and my time. You have lost me as a customer, and I will be sure to share this experience.
