I literally never leave reviews but this service was beyond my expectations. It’s shocking that this place isn’t shut down, the owner is not a professional piercer at all as she knows nothing about hygiene and piercing safety. Her equipment was literally rusted and isn’t sanitised or disinfected properly. She doesn’t meet any of the standards of a professional piercer and overcharges despite having no skill in this profession. She took out her phone in the middle of changing my piercing, so unhygienic. Very disgusted by this place. I will be reporting this shop.
got an infection from a nose stud. the stud tarnished within a week and caused my nose to swell and bleed. i was told it was made of titanium (evidently not true).
Walked in and was greated by friendly staff on the desk, had a good conversation, asked to fill out the relevant paperwork, waiting time was quick, the woman performing the piercing was kind, clean, all equipment used, safe and clean, the procedure itself was done with care and quickly (how it should be done). Thank you
Where do I start...
Went there to get my ears pierced. From the first look at this shop I knew it would be my first and last time there. The place is absolutely filthy! Chairs that are falling apart, the jewellery scattered everywhere in the display cabinets full of dust. It doesn't need to be super luxurious but some basic hygiene standards should be followed.
The queue was so long, I've waited nearly 30 mins but that's fine , it's cheap so can't be surprised really. Whilst in the queue I had a good look at the place and had second thoughts but I've already waited so decided to go ahead. I said to myself I'm only getting my ears pierced so I should be fine, it can't go wrong. I would never get anything else pierced there.Now the woman is not a professional piercer. Anyone who uses piercing guns shouldn't even call themselves a piercer. I had to ask her to use the needle.She didn't mention anything about after care either. Terrible place that needs a refurb and proper staff.
I went here for a change of bar for my lip and the the one that was fitted was so small it caused my lip to swell and close on the inside. I had to go to a another piercer to take it out which caused pain and brushing. Not happy with the service at all!!!!!

she doesn’t even know what she’s doing and plus she is very rude and she treated me very bad. She didn’t change the gloves from the customer before she just put in the other side. That’s disgusting and also dangerous for piercing.

Rude and unprofessional. Go to marmalade, don't waste your time. I barely got to open my mouth before the woman walked off... customer service is non existent
Had cartilage piercings done, one on each ear, a few weeks ago. The piercing was uncommon so I asked before the consultation if I had the right anatomy for it. They said yes, which turned out to be false when I consulted piercers at a different business.
Both of my ears were swollen/painful. One ear went purple & was infected even though I followed proper aftercare. It was my 10th ear piercing so I could tell I needed medical intervention. After the infection cleared, I removed the piercings.
In the longterm it’s better & cheaper to get pierced at a reputable place that’ll be honest about which piercings will & won’t work for you.
