The girls that work here are really nice. They work steady.... I got some really small individuals in about 6 hours. Bella did my hair and I would definitely recommend her to anyone! Yes I got what I paid for ???? Thanks so much!
Just got my hair braided here and I’m very pleased!! My hair is extremely thick and long and for me to get it done in under 10 hours is a blessing!! Also my braids are very neat and the braiding hair is very light, so even with individual braids my hair doesn’t feel heavy at all! Definitely will be coming back!
Great experience!!! Very talented ladies. I got my individual box braids done. The shop has a variety of hours so it works with my schedule. Prices are affordable. They are fast and very personable ladies. I will be back again.
They were extremely rude. I requested 2 people, they weren't busy at all but I still did not keep 2 people on my head because one lady kept stopping and doing everything but my hair. Some of my braids are connected because she braided strands from 1 braid into the other. I asked for box braids but instead got singles (there is a difference) and they braided tighter than before to the point my scalp has bumped up and is swollen and red in some spots. I used to love them and got all of my braids there but I'm not sure what happened or who these newer people are but I wont be going back
I had just got my hair done two days ago and my hair was coming out . Really the same day. But I called the lady and she said she been doing goddess braids for a long time which I feel like if that's the case you've been mastered them by now. She began to yell at me because I called her out on her work saying I took them out because I didn't like the color but remind you I paid 80$ and I wouldn't have taken my hair out just cause I didn't like them. If i didn't like them I would have told her before I left. But you guys suck and remember it's a reason why y'all only got 3 stars when people google search y'all &' EVERYBODY HAIR AINT THE SAME .
I went in asking for crochet braids and was told that they charge $140, to which I turned and walked out. I was called back in by the older lady in the last chair and was told that they would do them for $110 to which I agreed since it was Sunday and I was already there and needed my hair done desperately. I had a picture and the exact kind of hair that was used for the style and another lady in the shop went to work on my head. The lady in the first chair went on and on about the reason for the $140 charge was because they do such EXCELLENT work and I was going to be so happy with my hair that the next time I came in I would have no problem paying $140 because I would be beyond satisfied. SHE LIED!!!!!!! I almost cried when I saw my hair. I looked like a rag doll. There were short pieces and long pieces all over my head. Then the braids were tied like 3 times which didn't look right on the kind of hair I had.
Went here yesterday to get a simple hairstyle but they braid too tight and my scalp was in pain so I had to take some of the braids out. This shop is very overpriced because the Africans I go to in Lithonia would’ve only charged me maybe $80-$100 vs them trying to charge me $180. I will be disputing the charges with my bank because I didn’t even keep the damn style. It was a waste of time for me. I wish I would’ve known that they suck at braiding and prices were too high. I’m never going back!
Did not get what I asked for. I called the day before to ask prices of medium box braids was told $140 or $150 depending on length. My daughter went back the next day to get them. She asked for medium box braids. They look more like micros and she was charged $180. When I called they acted like 180 was a special discount off of a normal price of $200. I was never given a quote of $200 when I called. I was told the 140 was for kids and the 160 was for a shorter length. Won't go back there.
