Got my hair done yesterday didn’t like how the lady was braiding my hair told her to take it out she got a attitude and braid my hair over so now I’m at work one of my braids came out my head hurt so bad cause she box braids my hair to tight and small I told her medium braids ladies plz don’t go to them it will be just a waist of your money

Don't get your hair done here they scream in your ear to talk to each other even though their right next to each other and their very ruff with your hair. I also showed a picture of what I wanted and the person doing my hair wasn't paying attention and just did it her way totally different from the picture she asked if I needed hair added to my own and I said no cause I've had a friend do my hair perfectly without added hair. I paid extra even tho cornrows there are 40 but since she put extra hair it made it 51 even tho I said not to do it like that. I needed my hair done for work this week and now I'll just deal with what I have. But in the end I told her I liked it and left because I didn't wanna sit there for another hour and have my hair tugged on.

New client here, I showed up twenty minutes early to a 1pm appt and they didn’t get started on my hair until 3pm. Once I got in the chair, having to deal with the chewing and super loud talking in my ear and the kid running around the shop distracting the lady doing my hair, I couldn’t wait to be done and on my way. I am only giving one star because they do quality hair braiding. My hair turned out great. But this is the most unprofessional hair salon I have ever been to and will not return.

This is the only braiding salon that i go to in the area. Their prices are reasonable and they are fast. I generally go in the morning when they open, so i don't have to wait. The time i went later in the morning and i did have to wait, it was very brief. They do all styles of braids, if you have a picture they can probably get you the style you want. If you don't know what you want they will suggest Senegalese because everyone in the shop can do those. The ladies who work there are very nice.

Love this place! Mama and her staff always does an amazing job! They work hard to make sure you leave that place feeling amazing! The styles are always done neatly and they are very professional people with reasonable prices! They are very versatile and can do any braid style or crochet style! This is the only place that does my hair! I highly recommend Mamas! You will leave satisfied!

I like the fact that they took me right away on a Sunday. The first woman that started my hair was very nice and took her time blowing out my hair but they switched and I thought I was going to lose my mind. The second woman didn't take her time or finished the job. She also told me the hair she had was the same color I brought into the shop. It did with the jar of jell she caked on it. Once she started she yanked and pulled my head like I was a doll. Because my hair wasn't blown out it was shorter and she pulled my hair so bad it took two weeks to stop hurting. I had to treat my scalp with medicine so it wouldn't brake out. I would go back but to see another stylist..
