I absolutely love this place! I have been going here for years to get my eyebrows threaded. I have very thick eyebrows that grow quickly and it takes 5 minutes at most to go in and get them done. As a student, I am busy with schoolwork and sports, but having to get my eyebrows done is not a problem at all to fit into my schedule. I get so many compliments about my eyebrows and when I recommend Eyebrows by Afraa to my friends, they also love it. They have a very polite staff and it is also a very warm and welcome environment.
Been going here for as long a I can remember. I can't do wax since it literally blisters my skin. I have very sensitive skin. Threading has been my savior. Only complaint is, they aren't closer to wear I live. I drive over 30 min just to get my eyebrows done. The owner Afraa has always been so nice. Especially when I had breast cancer and was going to Community for my Dr visits and surgeries. She always asked how I was doing and made me feel she really cared. Happy to say I am now 5yrs cancer free. Thanks for the amazing eyebrows! Hoping to see you soon.
I’ve been here before and it was ok kind of my back up place but yesterday I wanted my eyebrows WAXED and the 35. Lash MEDIUM and LONG.. the lady THREADED my eyebrows because it looks better.. not what I asked for they look ok but I don’t like threading. My lashes first she did short and medium did not ask for that she ripped them off literally and started applying the lashes again I felt the glue go inside my eye it burnt badly I was told everything but just a simple sorry or are you ok it was my fault the owner actually told me don’t worry your eyes look good??? I ended in the ER to get the glue out of my eye they had to stain my eye to find it and a steroid shot to calm down the reaction.. I would definitely take caution here the last picture is a hour after shot
I had my eyebrows waxed today by a younger lady and they were uneven from the rushed service I received. The end result looked like it was done by someone who is not licensed with zero schooling. I absolutely do not recommend this place. I didn’t realize my eyebrows were uneven till I got in my car and looked in my mirror. I am not one for confrontation but hopefully the picture I have posted saves someone else from making the same mistake I did.
I hate leaving this review, because I have been going there for years,and i love them. But somebody has to let them know. recently they hired a new lady, she does threading super fast, it feels rough. she needs to calm down little bit. she did my eyebrows twice this past month, she made them very thin first time she did it, now few days ago i told her to just clean it up but she ruined one of my eyebrow. i always prefer Afraa, but she was not there that time.
I absolutely love the way Afraa does my brows! My only complaint would be to not insult people as a way to get them to try a different service (this wasn’t Afraa, she’s always SO kind) I was told “you really need to clean your skin & all of your blackheads,” so I should use the derma plan service. It’s rude and you just don’t know what people are struggling with. It only happened once out of the years I’ve been going here but it definitely puts a sour taste in my mouth about the lengths people will go to get you to use a service. You can be kind & suggest a service, it works just as well :)

I have had terrible experiences with the same employee that the bad reviews are about.
However, I went in and spoke to Afraa.
She fixed my eyebrows and gave me her card so I can text her so I know when she is working.

I love this place I have been going over two years I started after a bad experience on east street they kept making my real eyelashes fall out so I went to eyebrows by afra and at first I did normal lashes and then Shelley said try the mink lashes and I said okay and I have loved it ever since at first you may think it’s expensive but it’s so worth it they look beautiful and last so long and it’s cheaper just to go refill them and now Shelly moved I miss her but the new well not so new anymore girl draga omg she’s a dream come true she’s the best (sorry Shelly) but you trained her amazing I was scared to let her do mine and now I will never go to anyone else she’s sweet and amazing at her job and everyone here is always so nice I love afra they are so welcoming and amazing so if you aren’t going here stop what you’re doing and go these girls will have you thinking you belong on top model thank you ladies
