Quick Facts About Doc's Barber Shop

Doc's Barber Shop has received a mix of positive and negative feedback from customers. In order to analyze the strengths and weaknesses of the place, we will consider the comments provided.
Starting with the strengths, multiple comments mention the friendly and patient staff. One customer states that the staff did an awesome job on her husband's hair and their 1-year-old's hair. The fact that the barber was patient even when the child would turn his head shows a level of professionalism and care for the customers. Another comment states that the guys at Doc's are nice and full of great stories and jokes, creating a positive and enjoyable atmosphere. This suggests that the barbers are personable and make the experience fun for the customers. Additionally, a long-time customer mentions that Doc's is a personal place, providing great service at a great price.
Furthermore, the comment from a customer who had been getting their haircut at Doc's for 23 years highlights the loyalty and trust that some customers have developed over time. The fact that the owner is a supporter of the military is also mentioned as a positive aspect, showing a commitment to the community and making the place appealing to those with a military background.
Now let's examine the weaknesses mentioned in the comments. One customer expresses dissatisfaction with their haircut, claiming that there was no fade and the top was uneven. They go as far as saying it was the worst haircut they have ever received. Another negative comment mentions that the barber seemed nice but lacked the skill or willingness to cut the customer's hair properly, which has led them to find another barber shop to fix the errors. This suggests a lack of consistency in the quality of cuts provided by the barbers at Doc's.
Another comment notes that the barber only used clippers and a comb to blend the hair, resulting in an uneven and improperly blended hairstyle. The customer compares their haircut to a "three-tiered boxy cake" and expresses disappointment in the outcome. This suggests a lack of attention to detail and precision in the cutting techniques used at Doc's.
In addition, one comment highlights a negative experience when the customer visited Doc's on a busy day and there was no place to sit. As a result, the customer chose to go to a different barber down the road. This indicates a potential lack of capacity management and the need for better customer flow management during peak times.
To summarize, the strengths of Doc's Barber Shop include a friendly and patient staff, a personal and enjoyable atmosphere, and loyalty from long-time customers. However, the weaknesses include inconsistencies in the quality of haircuts, a lack of attention to detail and precision in cutting techniques, and a potential capacity management issue during busy times. These weaknesses should be addressed in order to improve the overall customer experience at Doc's.

Super nice staff and they did an awesome job on both my husband’s hair and our 1 year old’s hair. The gentleman was super patient while cutting whenever my son would turn his head to look around. I would highly recommend this barber shop to others!
I asked for a simple fade starting with 1. There’s no fade and the top is uneven. I still have hairs on the edges more then I do where the “fade” is. I’ve never gotten such a bad haircut I’m sorry to say.
He seemed nice but had no will on cutting my hair apparently... sad that I’ll have to find somewhere else to fix all the errors.
Had my 3rd haircut at Doc's this morning. Larry, I believe, was my barber. Chair closest to the back door. He's a man of few words, but a skilled and efficient barber. I enjoy the manly atmosphere at Doc's. Feels like America there.
These guys are fantastic! Old school barber shop with really nice guys (full of great stories and jokes) that have been cutting hair for years. My boys have gone to them since they were all little. :)
Doc’s is a personal place. They are a barber shop. They give great service at great price. If you have any issues there, please take it up with the person there. I’ve never had an issue. I’m very satisfied with Doc’s!
Been getting my hair cut there for 23 years. While in the military would come home on leave or weekend pass to get it cut. The owner is a big military supporter I highly recommend this place they give Great Haircuts and everybody that works there is a stand-up guy
Came in for a bald fade, cool guy who looks like he should be touring with Jimmy Buffets band sat me down. Was polite and asked me what I wanted. I asked for a high skin fade, looked good when I left the shop but was nervous as he only used clippers and blended everything with a comb. Got home and everything is uneven, I have shorter patches in the back and nothing is blended properly. My hair looks like it’s a three tiered boxy cake... I guess it goes to show you get what you pay for. I would only ever come back for the conversation.
Always a great experience. Stopped by 2 times this week to get my haircut and they were so busy there was no place to sit. It being the Friday before a holiday I needed a haircut so I ran down the road to get a quick trim, needless to say I won't make that mistake again. Do yourself a favor and wait on these guys! :)
