We made a random stop here after trying to find a sugar plantation tour which is supposed to be across the street from this place but non-existent in reality. Very nice and friendly folks. Wish they had warm soup too. There's a huge selection of everything in the freezer but it wouldn't work for us as we didn't need frozen food. We bought 3 lbs of boiled seafood and ate right outside the store LOL. Very tasty, friends devoured everything. For vegetarians, corn, potatoes and mushrooms are available which are all yummy IMO. People passing by probably thought we were starving. They let us discard the shells in their garbage can so our rental car wouldn't stink. Bathrooms available.
By far one of the best I've experienced while visiting. It feels like home and it is a family owned operation. The service, pricing, selection, quality, and tastefulness. My friend and I discovered this during a road trip and when we passed it something said make a u turn and go check it out. We both have been back twice and just scheduled another trip for May just to get more of this goodness to bring back home. I wish I could give them a 10.
Man, they are the truth. I love everything! I'm really not a crawfish girl, but I love theirs! Tender and oh so flavorful. You can't go wrong with Chenier's!❤❤❤
Great crawfish, I just like mine alot spicier. They sent us extra spice that was perfect but if you know how to cook crawfish then you know.
I went there for a friend to get some pork boudin, I also got some boil potatoes and boil potatoes, 4 Lil bite-sized potatoes (pricey) nice flavor tho. Definitely will not visit this establishment.
I like the food, a little spicy but good. Several options on the menu, fair prices. Lots of seafood specials.
The people are pretty friendly. They also sell propane tanks and they refill propane tanks.
Handicap ♿ parking. I didn't notice a bathroom for customers. No dine in.
Great side of the road place to pick up all the "necessaries," for a picnic table feast.
P.S. They showed me the correct way to eat mud bugs.
Listen, I wasn’t expecting the food to be so tasty!!! The boiled meat was amazing. The sausage was insanely good. I even got the frozen gumbo, and it was literally still the best chicken and sausage I ever had!!!!!! Your passing by. Stop there for sure!!!
