While I was visiting OKC, I had the pleasure of dining at Chen's Buffet.... they had a different style of fried rice that is more similar to yellow rice, but good food, friendly staff and some very tasty lemonade ????????!! I liked the Crab Rangoon....made like small turnovers. Thank you for your service and continue to serve good, fresh and tasty Chinese cuisine!!
I'm back, and $1 was paid in full, and man I always love the food here, how amazing it's fresh and keep that Salmon also fresh I always eat it, place is always clean and service is at it's best as always 祝你好运 Zhù nǐ hǎo yùn
me and my wife have been here a couple times, and it’s usually an okay buffet. We went there the other night for a date night, and there was raw chicken at the buffet.
I’ve been feeling very sick this morning and I’ve tried contacting the health department.
I almost threw up at the sight of it, and I’d already bit into it by the time I realized it was raw.
Buffet wasn't good. The temperature of food was like warm. Wasn't much of a selection.
$40 for 2 people to walk around and look at endless piles of horrible looking "food" items!??
We barely touched 1 plate of food and left.
The place looks absolutely disgusting.
Yeah I'm unhappy.
I just wasted $40 here instead of going to Braum's down the road for fresh quality food.
It wouldn't cost $40 for 2 people.

Been eating here regularly for about 4 years. Never been sick or felt like the food was gross or inedible. Sometimes the buffet can get cold or the quality is not always great, but it's usually hot and fresh good food. Happy to have this place around.
The lunch buffet had a wonderful variety to chose from. Even though the labels were on the wrong items, we had no problem finding the items we wanted. The waitress did provide the service you would expect at a buffet. I did not understand why we were seated at a booth that was close to the farthest point from the buffet, even though I'm disabled and struggled with the walk, but I will go back, and I do recommend the fried shrimp, General Tso chicken, and baked salmon as highlights of the buffet. I would recommend giving them a try. Two buffet, with sweet tea, cost $33.00, which included 15% gratuity.
Went back Sunday, May 5, 2024 at 11:30 am, cost $34.00 for two. The highlights were the baked salmon, fried shrimp, and beef roast. The Chinese food selection was very good and tasty, but there is also a good selection of non Chinese food, something for every taste. The service was also friendly and well accomplished. We were placed much closer to the buffet, this time, thank you. I highly recommend Chen's Buffet.
Well, maybe I'm spoiled when it comes to Asian food, but I was unhappy with this restaurant. Their service was spot on and they changed out empty items quickly. The hot and sour soup was very good. Sushi was okay. The rest of the items were "eh". The peel and eat shrimp could not be peeled and still had the "vein" (poop shoot) still inside. And the sushi was okay. Lots of imitation crab, though. The fried rice and lo mean were just wrong. No flavor. Very bland. The beef and broccoli was bland. The crab rangoon didn't seem to have any pineapple or green onion in the cream cheese. The service was great, the atmosphere good. The food, although plenty of it, was really, really lacking.
The two stars was for the service and atmosphere. Food would be a 1 or 0.
