Really enjoyed my first experience with this chain of restaurants. Food was good and very well seasoned. Steak was perfectly cooked and maybe a tad over seasoned but still very good. The other meals were spot on as well. Chips and dips were actually one of the best chips I’ve had at a restaurant being just a tad thinner than normal restaurant chips. Only downside is location as the location is a little bit of a hike if you’re not already on the south side of Lexington.
It was my first dining experience and I was very happy with the food and service. Our server was kind and helpful. I got the battered shrimp plate and it was delicious! The shrimp was plump and juicy and the batter was crispy. My only complaint is I wish the green beans were fresh and not canned. The steamed broccoli was perfectly cooked as well. They gave us complementary croissants and they were so yummy! The price was extremely reasonable. Definitely coming again! I highly recommend this restaurant!
First time I’ve eaten at a Cheddars for a while. I had the fish lunch special and my friend got the philly cheesesteak. Both were fresh made and hot when they came out. Our server was pleasant and efficient. Good meal and fantastic croissants!
My husband and I came out for lunch , Noel has provided us the best bar experience and services. Keith was amazing bringing out this fantastic steak meal cooked correctly. I will highly recommended everyone to come out to eat and visit. Place is ran amazingly.
We love Cheddar's. The service is always friendly and quick. You can conveniently order or pay via the kiosk that is on every table. I love that they give you the honey butter croissants for free now because they are melt-in-your-mouth delicious. I had the meatloaf last time but had the gravy placed on the side. I am more of a ketchup and meatloaf person but that is a personal preference. The actual meat of the meatloaf was very well seasoned. Unfortunately, we don't get to go often because it is on the other side of town. I Wish they wouldn't have shut the other location down that was near Hamburg. I wish they still had their club because it was delicious.
The last two Cheddars trips have been amazing. We have ordered the exact same thing each time. The buffalo shrimp with ranch. And the chicken tenders with loaded baked potatoes. Always good and cheap. And the staff is so friendly.
Also update a year later. Im adding picures of some excellent food and cocktails. The painkillers and salads are always so good. Also the free honey butter croissants are ????
Just had the most incredible experience here today. The five of us ordered dinner...steaks, ribs, chicken, and chicken pot pie. There was a mix up in the kitchen and our food was delayed by a decent amount of time. Our server noticed and checked on it. She brought the manager to our table. They remade all the food, told us to also have dessert, and then gave the entire meal, yes all 5 of them, to us on the house. Customer service is rare these days. This kind of service is unheard of!!! The steaks were the best we've had...seasoned perfectly and grilled to a perfect medium rare. The ribs fell off the bone. The chicken was wonderful. This was our second time here and we will be regulars going forward. I'll let everyone know how incredible you all are at Cheddars!
I've eaten at Cheddar's before and was satisfied enough to give them another go. I did a pickup and had the Country Fried Chicken, with mashed potatoes, gravy and the cheese and broccoli casserole. I was surprised by the blandness of the sides. The mashed potatoes were just okay, and the casserole was lukewarm at best. Neither inspired me to every try them again. In retrospect, that's been my experience in the past with Cheddar's sides. The chicken had a bitter taste which made me think that I was tasting the oil rather than the breading and chicken. I like to split big meals and was initially concerned that I might not leave enough for tomorrow's lunch. Not an issue since. The last meal I had there was during lunch and while the item is no longer on their menu it was excellent. Perhaps I just ordered the wrong thing, but when I go again, I will skip the sides, and anything battered and fried in oil.
