First ever visit to any Checkers. We considered it a success and will be back We visited before noon on a weekend. So, we may have been the first customers of the day.
With two separate lanes, the drive-in was confusing for a first-timer (and the intercom didn't work on the side I picked). The window/cashier area of the side I chose looked to be full of construction equipment & supplies. So, the worker didn't have an easy time getting to the window. We ordered ahead using the app. I felt the app was difficult to get through and I felt it was too intrusive. We struggled to get through the menu because we didn't know what everything was.
The one worker we spoke to was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. He went over our order to make sure we would get what we thought/wanted, adjusting where needed. The food was prepared quickly and properly. Both cold and hot things were at expected temperature levels and tasted as expected. The funnel cake fries were wonderful but needed more powdered sugar.
I placed an order yesterday after midnight, and upon arriving at the restaurant it was closed. I returned in the morning and told them about my complaint. I spoke with the manager, his name is Mohamed. He was a very friendly person. The problem was beyond their control due to a power outage in the area. He quickly brought me another one. Thank you very much. This is the best restaurant I have eaten at. in it
Very disappointed after not coming here for a few months and I get a burger that was not cooked all the way through. Had one bite and that’s when I saw how pink it was. I should have known by the temperature of the burger it wasn’t hot and freshly made. Only gave it two stars because the fries was ok. Paying over $10 for a meal to only eat the fries.
Why do they think that it’s ok to give us food that looks so unappealing and the total opposite of what’s advertised. It’s never hot/cold bread. Bread looks like it’s old. Sloppy prep of sandwiches and oil filled fries. It’s so sad to see what the fast food industry had become since the pandemic ended.
My experience I had with eating at checkers was wonderful the food was great and the cashier the employees was very nice. If you are ever in the DMV area or any checkers please try the soft chocolate chip cookie brownie. Oh my goodness it was sooooooooooo delicious ????????????????????
I had an absolutely terrible experience with Checkers in Greenbelt, MD, and I can't emphasize enough how disappointed I am. I would rate this establishment with just one star, and even that feels generous.
First of all, my order was a complete disaster. Not only were several items missing, but the mistakes were repeated across the board. To start, all the fries were inexplicably missing from my order. I mean, isn't that the most basic part of a fast food meal? Additionally, two Cheese Champ burgers were nowhere to be found. How do you mess up an order that badly?
Moving on, a Big Buford sandwich, which was supposed to have cheese in it, arrived completely devoid of cheese. That's just a complete disregard for the customer's expectations.
But wait, there's more. A milkshake was missing from my order, as well as one of the sundaes which was supposed to be fudge but was delivered as caramel. It's like they went out of their way to get everything wrong.
To top it all off, a snack called a Brookie was also missing. It's almost impressive how many things they managed to mess up in a single order.
When I contacted their customer service to address this mess, they offered little to no help. First, they suggested that I come to the store to resolve the issue, completely disregarding the fact that I didn't have access to a car. Then, they advised me to use DoorDash, passing the responsibility elsewhere.
After escalating the situation to a supervisor, they provided me with a case number and promised that a higher-up would call me within three days. Well, guess what? That call never came. So, my wife reached out to them, and the person on the other end simply stated that the refund would be available in 5 - 7 business days from the date of the complaint.
Today is Friday, September 15th, 2023, and this nightmare began approximately 1 1/2 weeks ago. A total of $66 was wasted on this miserable experience, and there's been no sign of commitment to improving their abysmal customer service.
In conclusion, we will never, under any circumstances, order from or dine at Checkers again. This experience was a complete and utter failure on their part, and it's left us deeply dissatisfied and frustrated.
My 2nd complaint wirhin the past 6 months, but by far my worst ever experience in nearly 30 years as a customer with Checkers/Rally's. The cashier was rude as I was ordering, uttering "OH MY GOD" with an attitide where it came through the intercom, as I was trying to redeem another item from my rewards as I pulled up, I was still charged for me mozzarella sticks, as the cashier didn't know how to take them off. The supervisor who also appeared to have an attitude that day, took them off finally. However my order still missed 2 burgers, an apple pie, and a large strawberry shake, not to mention, my food I did receive was luke warm, at best, as my order came in over $60 for my entire family, per usual. I gave a negative survey review online at the website, demanding someone to contact me to rectify the situation. Over 2 weeks has passed, and I still received no such call and/or email, even after contacting their corporate office, TWICE!!!! I guess it's a microcosm on how poorly ran they are, nor do they no longer value lifelong customers, or focus on providing good customer service. My family from this point on, will end our relationship and gladly take our business elsewhere.
The food took awhile to get. They had us order on the app cause of some of the deals. Food was not worth price.
