Best WLM Reviews

I came here last year and returned a couple of weeks ago. I had a fantastic experience both times!
We didn't have a reservation so we had to wait for a bit, but despite being seated at a table away from the main area, the service was still very attentive and the food didn't take too long to come out.
We got the pork soup dumplings, crab meat tofu stew, Yangzhou meatball, and nine-spice rabbit. Their soup dumplings are my favorite in Flushing now that the quality at other well-known restaurants has declined, with fairly thin skin and lots of soup. The other dish that surprised us in a good way was the rabbit, the flavor was subtle but very aromatic.
We had wanted to try out their beggar's chicken but they told us they only make about a dozen a day and were sold out, so that's a perfect excuse for us to return soon!
The store has a Beautiful design and the staffs were really kind. You definitely should order the rice wine, it's really delicious and if you don't like strong alcohol taste this is the best drink. All the food on the menu were delicious and my family had a great time there.
Food 9/10
Brings me back home. Ordered everything I had growing up so it brought back childhood memories. Also came here for Chinese New Year eve’s dinner with the family, so it was very wholesome. A table full of delicious dishes. The only qualm I have is that their order of food being brought up was quite in disarray. The vegetables came before our main meats, and then the noodles came up before some other meats came out too. A little messy in that disregard. Feeling lenient about my grading, but the vegetables lacked seasoning. The beef tendons were my favorite though. Soup dumplings’ skin was a bit too thick, but at least i could taste some crab. Still can’t compare with Shanghai though.
Atmosphere 9/10
Nice decor, very distinct vibes and theme. Plenty of seats, a winding pathway.
Service 8/10
Super friendly and accommodating, but the only issue was the order of dishes being brought out.
Best Shanghainese food I’ve had in the US/Canada! The interior design is beautiful and even had fancy teapot and specially designed menu.
Food was super delicious and authentic and would definitely come back the next time I’m in NY again!
First time to visit this restaurant. Nice environment. An Asian boy named Ryan served us. He is polite, nice with full smile. The food is good. Very traditional. Highly recommended!
I recently had the pleasure of dining at a Su-style cuisine restaurant, and I must say it exceeded my expectations. As a fan of Jiangnan cuisine, the dishes truly impressed me. Despite the modest exterior, the interior is cozy and thoughtfully designed, creating a warm atmosphere. I highly recommend the drink featured in picture 2– it has become a personal favorite. Additionally, the dessert with Chinese “shanyao” is a must-try. Not overly sweet, it carries a delicate osmanthus fragrance. Fantastic experience overall!!!
e came here for our anniversary and we really enjoyed it. Upon arriving we were seated and greeted very promptly. Before getting any food, we decided on a few unique drinks. One being the rice wine with plum, and a green tea lager. The part of the dining area was meant to look like a small village with a stream running through it-- which I thought was pretty interesting. We asked for a few recommendations from our waitress and decided on a few different dishes. The first appetizer that we ordered was some vegetable roll wrapped fried tofu skin. It was a very simple dish, but it was still also delicious. The next thing we ordered were the fried pumpkin bites. We also ordered two entrées. The first being shrimp with glass noodle and the second being crab meatballs in a tofu stew. The glass noodle dish was definitely my favorite thing that we ordered-- although all of them were really good-- the garlic sauce that was used in that dish was amazing! On top of all of the delicious food, the staff was extremely nice! They helped serve the food but also made our anniversary dinner very special. Even the hostess had wished us a happy anniversary on our way out!
A good place to celebrate. It‘s a very quite and traditional chinese restaurant. I love the pork. A little bit weet, and it makes me feeling in Shanghai.
