Dropped in here for a drink and a bite to eat. We shared a pork tenderloin sandwich with an egg on it. It was delicious, but in hindsight, the egg didn't add much. A deep fried pork tenderloin doesn't benefit from the richness of an egg.
We sat outside and it was very comfortable. It was graduation day so several families were there enjoying the day.
Update 05/05/24:
We've been ordering from Chatham Tap Butler for the past six months and have loved their food. I finally stopped in for lunch yesterday. Great atmosphere and service. The Portabella Mushroom Fries were incredible and the Reuben was great. The Boneless Buffalo Chicken Wings were very tasty as well.
We were looking for a new pizza to try and came across Chatham Tap (Uber Eats). We've had it twice. Overall, it's outstanding!! Our first pizza was so awesome, we decided to have the same one again... Thin crust, Gorgonzola, Asiago, Pepperoni, Mushroom, Red Onion, Bacon and Pesto Spread. Wow! What a combination! Unfortunately, our second order of the same was wrong... No Bacon, No Pesto Spread and it had ham on it (not for me, thanks). It was still good, but not what we ordered. Uber Eats refunded me for the missing toppings and we will order from them again, so all's good.
Leigh and Emma are the best servers/bartenders here! Karina makes the best food. You gotta try the pizzas! The drinks are fun and reasonably priced, and the location is awesome.
The customer service and atmosphere was wonderful. The gentleman with the clean shaved head and glasses runs a tight ship as a manager. Our server Kay showed great customer care. Loved the spaciousness of the location. *Thumbs up*
The waitress who served us was great, but they were severely understaffed. They ran out of all their good beer selections on the day of the eclipse. I would give it another chance, though. Fun place within the university. Cool setting with English pub feel and a commemorative in honor of their British Bulldog mascot.
Came here on a busy night before a show but didn't take too long to get seated although a ton of people showed up right after us. Server was very very nice but clearly pretty busy. But no complaints on service. Everyone was friendly!
Fish and chips is a pass. When we got it it was not crunchy (soggy) but the fries were good! Fried pickles were ok, the sauce on the side is nice with a little spice.
Tenderloin sandwich was just ok, not a ton of flavor and since we got it breaded it was just too much bread.
Our friends liked their soft pretzels (especially the cinnamon sugar dip). And the buffalo dip was pretty good as well.
This is a solid space before a show as it's super convenient and beer prices are pretty good as well. Likely to come back but will not get fish n chips or tenderloin sandwich. I'd say the food over all was a 3 but service was great so rounded up. I'd give it another try with different food items ☺️
Good food, fun atmosphere. It seemed maybe they were short staffed like most places these days so it took about 45 minutes to get our food and some of it had gotten cold. The two folks I saw working were doing all they could to keep up so kudos to them. Certainly would have been 4 stars if the wait wasn’t so long. I wish I could’ve stayed longer so I plan to go back.
Ordered to go, onsite. I ordered the chicken club but when I got home and opened my order I had some awful smelly ham sandwich thing that is also green? It looks and smells terrible, so I guess my hunger was curbed.
