i really don't get all the positive reviews I'm seeing for this place.
This place is should hardly be considered a salon or spa. That's pretty laughable. The business is situated in an old building on a street behind another old strip of stores. The decor is outdated. The waiting area has an old worn out couch. No wonder how many germs it contains. Safety issues with a broke-a$$ screen door that's hard to open and feels as if it will fall off its hinges. Run by bunch of country girls trying to present themselves as an upscale salon..It's a joke,
This salon is the best! I originally went, based on the amazing reviews, to get an “oops” hair color fixed. I called Greta Robinson and she was able to schedule me for the following day. The whole experience was lovely, plus she fixed my hair color perfectly! Greta is the only person I trust with my hair now. She is an incredibly talented and skilled hair artist and I couldn’t be happier!
Greta seemed like she knew what she was doing. Showed her a picture and it did not even remotely look like the style. This has been the worst haircut and experience I have ever had. WILL NOT BE GOING BACK!!!
If you are looking for the best hair dressers in town, this is your place!!!???? Greta Robinson has been doing my hair for over 10 years. She is a master of the color craft. She is attentive, honest with her suggestions which makes me trust her completely & always empathic. I have always done something different and custom and each time I leave feeling like a million bucks! Their shop is inviting, clean & comfortable. Price is reasonable...you get the best! I have referred multiple people to Greta. I even have a client who dives well over half an hour to come to this shop. I ALWAYS get complimented on my hair and asked constantly who does it! I keep their cards on my always!!!
Well first of all I walked into the establishment and no one greeted me whatsoever. I had a lady look at me and then continue to talk to her client. 15 minutes later she finally acknowledged me and said that Dawn would be with me in a few minutes. Keep in mind my appointment was at 4. Well 4:15 rolls around and she finally finishes with her client. She looks at her co-worker and goes, "well I guess my 4 o clock isn't coming" the lady was like she's been sitting in the lounge waiting. There is lack of communication going around and I felt it was very unprofessional. I just brush it off because I still wanted to give this place a chance. So I sit down to get my hair cut and the lady asks me how I want my hair, I show her a picture.. cool she's goes about cutting my hair. The whole time I kept trying to communicate with her this lady would either not respond or she would give me a short response and we would go back to silence. I made several attempts and finally gave up. She cut my hair fine expect one spot, I have no clue what she was doing or trying to accomplish but I now have a very random short "bang" it looks horrible. Safe to say with the customer service and that mistake I will not be coming back.
Wonderful place for all your hair care needs. Tammy does an awesome job cutting hair. I have never been disappointed when I go for a haircut. I encourage you to go and see for yourself.
Overpriced for the quality of service. GR is definitely not worth what she charges. This is Dunn, not LA. Don’t waste time or money.
