C Staples is one of the great restaurants in Youngstown. If you love BBQ, you will enjoy the selection here. I stopped by Saturday to dine in. I was informed that the main dining room was being remodeled. So I chose to grab some carry out instead. I was also informed that C. Staple’s is now under new management. You can sit and wait for your carry out meal or enjoy you meal there. Seating options were tables, booths or at the bar. The staff is always friendly & great at making recommendations & suggestions. I ordered the Rib dinner, which did not disappoint. Parking is never an issue, two lots on both sides of the building. The atmosphere is very relaxed which I always enjoy. Again if you like BBQ you will absolutely enjoy this place.
I had the Big Bertha twice previously, and was in the mood for one of those delicious baked potatoes. Instead of waiting there for my food, I ordered online (you cannot order over the phone anymore). The menu says it comes with cheese but the website charges a $1 extra for cheese!? I get all the way home, sit down to eat my baked potato, and I have french fries. I started eating it but it didn't taste the same. If I wanted fries, I would have ordered fries. No, this is not the same place!
We recently celebrated my mother's 80th birthday. We ordered 3 meats from this amazing barbecue restaurant, and I couldn't have been more impressed. Not only was the food absolutely delicious - the brisket, smoked chicken, and pulled pork were divine - but the staff went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. Guy, in particular, deserves a special mention for going out of his way to ensure that the food was delivered to our venue on their day off. The attention to detail and the genuine care they showed for our celebration truly made it a hit. Highly recommend this place for both the incredible food and the outstanding service!
If I could rate 0 stars, I would. Their phone is 100% A.I. When you ask to talk to a human it just repeats that the only way to talk to an actual person is by email. I then messaged on Facebook because all I wanted to ask was a simple question about seeing if it's safe to eat there with a shellfish allergy. No one ever responds. Totally unprofessional.
Love this place. The most unique flavor bbq sauce I've ever had. It's amazing. Service is top notch as well!
My wife did take out of a chicken dinner and when started eating it it turned out to be under cooked. She called there to talk to them and they put her on hold twice. She then drove back while still waiting on her cell phone and the person at the counter was just rolling silverware with no other customers around. My wife showed her her phone showing her to still be on hold and the person did not care. It seems like the quality and service has gone down hill. We will not be going back there again to eat.
Door dash order was wrong. Didn’t like the potato wedge fries. Sauce was not mixed. Before the buyout the food here was actually good. It taste bland now. I loved my fries and bread covered in sauce. Now bread comes in a plastic baggie? I paid for a drink that I did not receive.
Ordered 2 fish dinners, SAUCE ON THE SIDE!! Fish had 2 different sauces on it and no sides. We had to ask for fish with no sauce on it, which was only catfish and we don’t eat that. And sides had to be made up for the order. I eventually asked for a refund.
