Charlie’s has some of the best seafood on the North Shore. Everything is fresh and well prepared.
Easy to get to Charle's from Salem and parking is next door. The sea food is fresh and lightly battered.... just perfect.... not greasy or heavy. I recommend the jumbo ship platter and the seafood platter.
Food was so good we went there twice, just in the week we were in Maine????

Had the small chowder and haddock sandwich. The sandwich came on a hamburger roll with nothing on it. Tarter sauce was an extra charge. The chowder had 2 clams in it. I was so disappointed ☹️. This is VERY OVERPRICED. I will never go back. Fool me once shame on you fool me twice shame on me.
