We went to Indy for the eclipse and found this restaurant online. It had a high rating so we decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed. It was the day of the eclipse and they are close to the speedway so they were swamped. We put our name in but we also waited for the bar as it was first come first serve. We waited about 30 minutes until a spot opened up. It was well worth the wait. The food was absolutely delicious. It was one of the best breakfasts I have ever had, and my husband agreed. We could see the pass-through window and they checked every meal before taking it out to the customers. The service was also very friendly. An employee had come in on her off day to eat. They were so swamped that she offered to stay and help. The fact that an employee is willing to work on an off day says something positive about the staff and morale. They had started opening seating outside by the time we left to allow for faster service.
Got here on Sunday Afternoon around 1230. Not too long of a wait about 20 minutes to get a seat.
Ordered breakfast, and was pretty good. It took a bit to get the food, but that was probably because of the crowds.
Ordered a 4 bacon and cheese sandwich with hash browns. Tasted pretty good

Charlie Browns deserves 3 1/2 stars, maybe even 4 stars in some respects. I liked the atmosphere; it's an old school diner decorated in a somewhat charming yet funky way. The facility is clean and has been kept up. The service was good and it didn't take long for our food to arrive. There were plenty of menu options with some unique dishes available. The prices were very reasonable. The portions were decent. The food was basic, but good. Will I return to Charlie Browns? I hope so.
Stopped in after a tour of the Speedway. Staff was friendly from the start. Our server was friendly and attentive. The waffle my daughter ate was so delicious. Love the vanilla in the batter! Their gravy is some of the best I've had that went on top of my meal. Will definitely stop by again if I'm in the area
It’s a bit chilly , the burgers are great and the chicken sandwiches are phenomenal! The fries are tasty and widely cut. It’s very welcoming with great service .
Waited about 10 minutes for a table. It’s ok, it was Sunday at 10:45am. After sitting & placing the order, it took almost 45 minutes to get breakfast. That’s a long time for eggs. Pancakes were good. Hash browns are better. Bacon was yummy. Toast needs another 30 seconds to brown.
Relatively clean. Bathroom was fine.
They serve Pepsi products. Ick.
Went on a Tuesday. Wait for food was just 10 minutes and the service was marginally better. Good value.

We ate here for breakfast both mornings we were in Indy. Food is good, but their gravy is amazing! Place is always packed so it may take a little time to get sat. They definitely work hard at getting tables cleaned quickly for the next customer. Service was fine considering how busy they are. I don't recommend the eggs Benedict. The egg is over done. Ours was & I noticed other people's were too. It was still good though
First time visitors and couldn't have been more pleased. I am a huge IndyCar fan so the memorabilia was an amazing surprise. Food and service was great. I also appreciated the rolling chairs because I cannot walk long distances without assistance and they let me roll the chair to the front door. A++
