This place is under new ownership. I love what the new owners are doing with the place . They care about their customers. They added new TV's and more dart boards with displays above dart boards! This is an awesome place to throw darts. Super excited to make this my local bar. Super excited.
Been here a couple times always had a great time staff and owner we're amazing. I now they have poker so I will be going more often .
Saw a live music show by Carvin Jones! Ran into some school friends, that was awesome! Nice familiar place. Friendly atmosphere. Felt welcomed.
It's a clean, neighborhood bar with food and a pretty good beer selection at great prices. 2 pool tables and darts. Pinball and bar top arcade. Outdoor seating with smoking!
We had been going to Charlie's place was nice in the beginning but THINGS changed not to our advantage ALL over COFFEE issues at night . NIGHTTIME bartender on FRIDAY and Saturday night 's was willing to make us coffee but was told not after 6pm food was good and loved THE KARAOKE on FRIDAY and SATURDAY NIGHTS , THEY LOST OUT ALONG WITH THE FRIENDS WE BROUGHT they wont be back because we are not there THAT'S ON THEM .☕☕☕☕☕☕☕☕☕☕☕☕☕????????????????????????????????????????????????
Quality dive bar. The karaoke host is the best you'll find. Small dart tournament on Sunday night. I've had just about everything on the menu. No disappointment. I'd recommend.
Update: how bad does it have to get before the owners start caring? Beer is warm constantly. Food is outdated and sucks now. The cook does his best but the owners literally handcuff him because he is not allowed to detour from the menu. They refuse to take recommendations to make their food more finger friendly.
They switch whiskey with bad whiskey. It's like they want to see how bad they can make it before loyal customers stop coming. I'm about there.
The new renovations are nice enough and the barter was friendly and timely. If you aren't going for karaoke then I'm sure you will be just fine
They had a new karaoke company. I get what happened with the last guy but I went in a few nights ago to sing and I was there over an hour and watched the karaoke guys friends go up multiple times without singing. I wasn't worked in at all. Saw the end of the rotation and still wasn't called. I left without singing at all.
I'm pretty sure it's the same company that does Bridget's LL. That explains a lot. Until they get new karaoke I won't be back. I already didn't like karaoke at Bridget's for the same reason but wanted to give this place a shot since it is my neighborhood spot closest to my house. Unfortunately the karaoke met my expectations
The renovations by the new management are nice, and the food is above average; but this establishment is perpetually understaffed, and the staff is constantly turning over. If you're not at the bar and/or you aren't friends with the current bartender, you'll have to wait a long time for service.
Given all of the nearby competition, I can't imagine this place will last more than a year unless they can fix their staffing and turnover issues.
