This is a beautiful bridge that crosses over the Charles River along the trail. You feel secluded as you're surrounded by trees. There are scenic views of the river on both sides. It's a great picture spot at any time of the day as you face either east or west on either side of the bridge. There are benches on one of the sides.

I love this bridge on the Blue Heron path. Lots of activity in and on the river as it passes under the bridge. It enhances the entire path and bikeway. It's so great when the Dept. of Conservation and Recreation spends it's funds wisely!

This is a little architectural marvel in the wilds of Newtonville. It's a wonderful stopover on the trail to downtown Boston, and a convenient footpath from the Albemarle area of Newtonville to Waltham. It's quiet and pretty, even in the dead of winter, and this section of the water is really nice. The bridge itself is beautiful and strong. It's a big suspension bridge. Often, from the bridge, lucky travellers can spot local wildlife. More than once, apart from the usual raccoons, deer, rabbits, and songbirds, I have seen eagles.

Nice lil path tucked away in waltham. The bridge is shaky since its a small wire bridge which is disorienting at first but its perfectly safe. Cool spot with good views

This place is very nice and quiet for walking and biking. Both side of walk way has lots of trees.

Lovely safe trail along the Charles river near Stop & Shop on Pleasant St.

I saw a great blue heron at the bridge.

Great hiking trail, just be careful as there are poison ivy present on this trail
