I had the Garlic & Rosemary Grilled Chicken. Wow, it was amazing!! The service was a tad slow, but they did fulfill any request or questions I had so I can't really complain. I'll definitely be back!
Houston's was a 45 minute wait, and I hadn't been here, so looked at the reviews and ... since they were good, I figured why not.
I ordered the Chicken Sandwich with Bacon, Lettuce, Tomato and some foreign sounding sauce. Really nice -- probably among the best I've ever had. A very unique flavor. The chicken was pounded thin, was flavorful, and nicely cooked (organic I was told). The bacon could not have been better or better cooked. The bun was fresh, and while I've lost track of the name of the spread on there -- really nice and clearly made in house. Pricing was $11 which was "value priced" in my opinion.
I really have nothing negative to say. It's super nice inside, service was good, the food was unique and interesting. Hurry in -- you'll also be impressed.
Finally a solid place to eat just outside of the crowded old town area. I never order soup, but Liz at the bar said it was good and she was right - it was awesome! Chicken wraps are tasty, too. Excellent cocktails and comfortable atmosphere. Get dessert!
What a nice surprise!!! Service from Brian was outstanding. Food was fresh and delicious. We had Avgolemono soup (ranks as one of the best with my wife's) and Mediterranean Steak wrap done to perfection. My wife had a wonderfully tasty and tender chicken skewer. This newly opened place will not be quiet for long.
Great atmosphere at this remodeled restaurant. The staff is super friendly and the food was a very pleasant surprise. Great tastes. Try the tomato appetizer, so simple and refreshing. We had the chicken entree which was fantastic. Locally sourced and fresh ingredients in every dish. This will definitely have many repeat visits.
Was skeptical because there weren't any other patrons, but so glad we stopped for Happy Hour. Everything we tried was delicious and the service awesome. Siracha Chicken Skewers, Calamari and Arizona grass fed beef Slider Trio were amazing. My friend loved his lamb gyro. Great food and drinks. Liz at the bar is the best!!!
Love Char. Recently have been there 3 times for lunch and twice for dinner. We keep telling friends about Char. For lunch I love the lamb gyro.
For dinner I love the Chicken kebab. My husband loves the salmon . The spinach salad is great. All good. Nice wines and drinks. Great service.
I tried this restaurant last month and can't say anything good about it other than we were seated right away. Within less than a minute of being seated we were asked our drink and appetizer order. We asked for a few minutes to look over the menu only to have our server never come back to the table. We asked another server to take our order after waiting for ours to return. My chicken caesar wrap was terrible, the chicken was rubbery. The manager came over to see what the issue was and replied "sometimes the chicken we get is a little tough". They did take my meal off the bill and offered me something else but I declined. When the bill came I was charged for premium vodka, which I did not order. I ordered Tito's and was charged for Kettle One. If this place only sells premium vodka that is fine but tell your customers that when they order. So I paid $22 for two drinks and left hungry. My parents were going to go to take their friends there for Happy Hour but I told them to go elsewhere.
