This is long, but worth reading!! I took my car to Chapman's garage because my engine oil cooler was cracked and it was pouring oil. They charged me over $1000 bucks to fix it which I gladly paid cause I needed my car fixed. This was one week exactly ago. Yesterday my car starts running hot and throwing all my antifreeze out all over everything. After having someone look at it, my thermostat housing was broke off. Might I add my car has never run hot before. So I took pics an sent to Chapman's an asked, "did y'all break this while fixing my car", I was told "oh no we didn’t mess with that." Here's where the lie came in, they had to remove that hose to repair oil leak, idc what they say, it never ran hot nor leaked antifreeze until I left there, that pipe would had blown off long before now instead of right after I left the garage, and if they didn't break it then why wasn't the broken pieces inside the pipe, they broke that pipe and it only had about a 1/4th of pipe for the hose to hold on to after they broke it, so let's throw it back together and get it out then we will deny it and it will be on her!! . The first 3 pics is of the broken part and the last pic is with the new part and the broken part, which cost me $160 to get someone else to fix it for the part and labor. They charged me $1000 for part and labor and afterwards I called other garages and was quoted $400 for part and labor, so they made a extra $600. Moral to this story, don’t take nothing to Chapman's if u don’t want your car messed up worse than when u took it.

Terrible. They insisted on making us peel our tint off. We drive a diesel it is not necessary. Took it somewhere else no problem. They are not knowledgeable at all. Also, you are racist and left our hood unlatched. And you don't know how to crank a hybrid ????. We have never had to check tint. Please do your research before starting a business. Thank you.
During my oil change they threw my metal skid plate away on my 2006 beetle. Said bolts were stripped. Just bolted it on with 4 new bolts i had to buy perfectly fine. Didn't change my oil filter because the filter housing was just as dirty as when I drove in. NO evidence anyone touched it.. Only giving 2 stars because they gave me a full refund after an argument. Original owner, great guy would have never allowed this to happen this way. I think the real problem my be in a few employees.
I have always got great service here whether it's something as simple as a quick inspection or something bigger, like when I recently had to have my dodge charger towed there after it left me stranded on a Sunday afternoon with a bad water pump. I had it towed there Monday morning (July 3) and they were closing early @ 3:30 that day because of the 4th. I honestly didn't expect it before Wednesday the 5th at the earliest...they called me a little before 3 that afternoon to say I was ready to go! I was so pleased to have it to drive the next day and its been great ever since. I definitely recommend them!
Brand new car from Honda had to call roadside assistance and thank God chapmans got the call they were here quick thankyou guys from chapmans your the best
My wheels had a roaring sound. Took it to Chapman's Travelers for repair to my wheel bearings. They keep my car for two weeks. Finally said they fixed the vehicle. Got it back and my cruise control did not work and the car still had a roaring sound. Paid them $481.26 to repair both front wheel bearings. My daughter was driving the car and it got so bad it was not drivable. Took it to a service locally and they told us do no drive this vehicle. It is very dangerous. They repaired the wheel bearings in one day and now it drives and sounds great. The local service said they feel confident the left wheel bearing had never been replaced. I called Chapman's and explained the situation. I told Chapman's they could look at the old parts that were replaced. That were still under warranty. They would not credit us a dime. Seek repair at your own risk.
I have been going to Chapman's to get my inspection on all 3 of my cars for the past 5 years and other than the taller older guy that does the inspections everyone else is very friendly. Now this one individual is the rudest most abrasive person I've ever met. I would not recommend anyone to go her unless they want to be belittled and verbally abused...Never again for me.i never submit bad reviews but this one was well deserved I would give less than zero stars if I could.
No appt needed. Very quick oil change!
