5/2/24 @ 12:30 pm - My family and I just ate here while travelling through this quaint little town. I love this restaurant! The beautifully decorated atmosphere, the elegant restrooms, the fresh flavorful food, the customer service with a smile, and the vibe. Highly recommend this restaurant. Our waiter was so friendly, accommodating and attentive. We wanted a somewhat private table during the busy lunch hour, and everything worked out great. The service was very fast too, considering the lunch crowd. We ordered the kids loco pollo, and the kids were like "wow! This is good mommy." That says a lot coming from my often picky 8 year-old. The taco salad was good. The highlight was the chips and salsa. Warning, don't get full off of the chips and salsa because the meals are quite large and filling. We had to get to-go boxes for all of this great food. Thanks, Carlos!
Was stuck in Shelbyville for 24 hours and asked several locals where to go for Mexican and this place was mentioned almost exclusively.
Went for lunch and kept it simple and ordered the chimichanga platter from the lunch menu. At only $7.99 I wasn't expecting much.
But what I got was very fast service, drink ,chips, salsa and a hot platter shortly after with my food done very well.
They nailed everything from the rice, delicious and fluffy, the beans rich and flavorful. Sauce was good, chimichanga done very well and pico was excellent and I should of ordered more on the side.
I decided I will return here again tonight for supper as lunch only cost $11.08 which includes a large Pepsi, the meal plus chips and salsa and taxes included.
We had a great experience! Waiter was friendly and funny! Food was very good! Great value!!
Rudest waiters I've ever seen! Toto was our waiter. He, and the other waiter were completely and totally rude and condescending. They made us feel like we were annoying them by trying to order and then asking for some sour cream, which they never brought but charged us for. We noticed they were treating other customers badly as well. The food was ok, not great. I've never seen anything like this before in all the places I've dined and I cant believe they are still in business. I thought they were going to spit in my food. I feel sorry people who are so miserable that they treat people badly. I will never be back.
Cute atmosphere, nice service. I tried both Mexican restaurants in town and this is definitely the better of the two. The margaritas are way better as well as the food, and the atmosphere- and the portions are larger too. ????
They did a great job updating the place, looks good and food is still delicious with some new items on the menu
We had a delicious meal at Chapala Mexican Grill for a late lunch. We all ended up getting the same thing. They got our food to us very quickly after we ordered. One of the best things about eating here is the unlimited amount of tortilla chips and salsa! Yum!
