We came right before closing order two orders of aguachiles $60 dollars for both and each plate had like 8 small shrimp ! Never again, super expensive and food was not great at all. Just because it’s already closing time doesn’t mean they shouldn’t put a bit of effort on the food. Won’t be coming back .
Was finally able to try this spot.
When we got here the parking lot was full, we were greeted and seated quickly, there is plenty of seating but gets busy so may have a short wait depending on when you arrive.
The staff was friendly, the drinks and food came out super fast, the chips and salsa is good and the food is tasty. I will be back when I really hungry and order the molcajete. It looked and smelled delicious.
These are the places that should be praised more than the fancy places. Great food. I had the Tacos De Barbacoa. My colleague took me to this place. He goes here frequently with his family. I loved it. True, authentic Mexican food. This is a "Don't Judge a Book by Its Cover" restraunt. We all have them in our cities. Try Chapala out.
I like this place! Big menu with a lot of different types of selections. A good neighborhood spot that's got lots of parking. Staff is friendly and service is excellent. Price is reasonable and portions are good.
Me and family if 6 went here, had the quesadilla which was big, burrito also big, kids meal that could be a regular meal for an adult, birria tacos without consume, but Even then was good. Rice and beans had hot and cold spots, like it was reheat. But because everything else was good, I didn't mind. Service was exceptional, owner memorize our order right away. It is a bit pricey. As we paid 190 for 6 people. Almost forgot, the molcajete was delicious , the sauce is for people ok with some spice otherwise it might be too much if you can't do spice.
Great place service was awesome food was delicious as always.
Drinks were good. My aguachile was delicious and worth the price. The only thing we didn't like was the molcajete frio. For $30, I was expecting more than 4 pieces of shrimp. The taste of the molcajete was okay. The prices are around $30 a plate.
French toast/pancakes were not good. Butter is served cold and hard. This is expected as its a Mexican restaurant, but if it's not good don't sell it. Chilaquiles were really good, service wasn't great.
Check was given to us and we calculated tip, ect, and I then gave it back to them with my card attached.
When they brought back the receipt, they had added $10 to the total before running my card. If they would have came back to me and notified me of any check errors before running my card it wouldn't have been an issue but just running my card for a total that was different than the receipt they gave me just rubbed me the wrong way.
