Giving this place one star because it's required to leave a review. I see a lot of good reviews and that's the reason I trusted to go here for my hair to be done. That most definitely was NOT my experience, I wish it was. This is the first time I've had my hair cut and dyed in such a long time and was really looking forward to it. I even emphasized on the fact that I needed someone that knew exactly what they were doing when it comes to color when I made my appointment because my natural hair is so dark and it's not easy to lift to a lighter color. I made this known and I even brought in a photo of exactly what I wanted and well let's just say it was no where close. ????
I do not get to do something like this much because of how hectic my everyday life is and like I said I was really looking forward to it. I have had my hair lightened quite a few times in my life and never have walked out of a salon feeling the way I did today. I just feel like when you are doing someone's hair and someone is paying you over $200 for you to do their hair, if you feel like you can't actually do what they are asking why even touch their hair? Why not have someone else do it? Maybe someone with more experience with coloring because clearly she did not know what she was doing. I sat with foils for maybe 30 mins and was never put under heat. Mind you like I said my natural hair is dark so you would just think that I would have at least had some type of dryer on my head while I sat. Once she was done blow drying my hair I actually thought it was a joke when she said I am sorry we couldn't get it as light as you wanted ????. I was speechless. I mean that is what I paid you for right?!? I paid you over $200 for you to basically do whatever YOU wanted to do with my hair because you damn sure did not do anything close to what I asked for. I will be calling in the morning for a refund and will NEVER step foot back inside of this place.
If you want your hair lightened in anyway I would be advised. At least ask whoever is doing it if they are actually capable of doing what you want done because I think its a complete joke for any hair dresser to do that to someone that is paying you that much money. For that much the customer most definitely should get exactly what they ask for. I think her name was Kaitlyn.
If you read this please if you feel like you can not do someone's hair the way they want or can't even get close to it let them know that so they can have someone else do it or so they can go somewhere else altogether because it was not fair for me to pay you $200 for something I didn't even ask for. You're messing with someone's confidence smh. You should know better!!! ????????
When I got home I inspected it better and......
I now have the thinnest little highlights that you can barely see and one big chunk of blonde in the back of my hair and is completely uneven. I am livid.
I will remove this review the moment I am refunded!!!!!!

I called Chany's as a first time client today not expecting to get an appointment same day. I was pleasantly surprised when they told me there was a spot for me. The atmosphere there is so peaceful and the boutique is pretty cute too. All the staff was super friendly and Kaitlyn gave me the best hair cut I've had in literal years. This spot is a 10/10 guys. I'll know I'll definitely be back.
Loved it, Taylor was amazing, she was also very informative of hair products thats goes with my hair. She knows how to cut curly hair!! I will definitely be back ????
Anthony was wonderful with my grandson. They chatted the entire time he cut his hair. My grandson is 6 and a chatterbox but Anthony kept up with him. We went the Saturday before school was to start and felt so lucky to find a salon with an opening, so I was very thankful that they squeezed my grandson in on short notice. I wasn't sure if Anthony would be able to cut and style his hair because my grandson had taken it upon himself to cut the front of his hair the day before and it was a mess, but Anthony somehow turned a mess into a really nice hair style. Highly recommend!
Taylor is amazing! It's hard to find a hair stylist that is talented AND has a great personality but Taylor nailed it. Couldn't ask for better.
Tara did an amazing job on my hair from the color, highlights and the cut! I love it! She's so talented and sweet! I'll be back when I come through next year!!!????????????
