I've been a client of Dena's for 8 years and I'm grateful I found her then. Changes, and specifically Dena, was a referral from another friend when I was looking for someone to get my daughter's hair ready for senior pictures. Dena is an amazing stylist, from her friendly and upbeat personality to her "shear artistry" for hair. Talking while she worked on my daughter's hair style, I asked for her opinion on what changes she would suggest for my hair, which had been the same style for 10+ years. Her ideas pushed me to make an appointment and for me, the rest is history. With Dena's encouragement and a few years time growing my hair out longer, Dena brought my look into the present, changing my hair styling from frumpy to beautiful, and looking 10 years younger! She's grown her personal clientele to the point she no longer takes new clients. I have to book out my appointments a year in advance with the salon's incredibly wonderful assistant, Melissa, and I treat those appointments as "written in stone." Finding another appointment if I have no choice but to cancel is usually impossible; I end up waiting until my next scheduled appointment. Melissa has Dena's entire clientele's appointment schedule, needs, and preferences saved in what I refer to as her "bible." She automatically schedules appointments for Dena's clientele when she opens a new appointment calendar. Dena has become a friend over the years and I love her dearly.
Katie is not only a great stylist, she listens to what her client wants, she keeps notes, and she is enjoyable to chat with while she cuts your hair. She told me to 'work with my cowlick'. I know that sounds funny, but it was the best advice! I style my hair differently as a result and everything falls into place. Great unpretentious atmosphere and nice people.
Everyone there is great. I highly, highly recommend anyone to see one of the stylists here. I have never been disappointed out of my over 10 years of getting cuts and colors.

I went in hopeful and I'll definitely make this "my salon". Easy access off Route 59 and just north of Summerlakes entrance light.
Finally got a haircut. First time coming to Changes. Brenda did an amazing job. I have a ton of thick hair and get migraines. She gave me the perfect cut. My head feels so much lighter. I am very happy with my new look. Definitely plan on coming back.
I've gotten my hair styled by Katie Rolon, an owner at Changes Shear Artistry, since the salon opened. She always has been awesome, and is skilled and knowledgeable about every aspect of her work. The other stylists are simply wonderful. There's a friendly atmosphere there that I've always enjoyed. I highly recommend it.
We have been going to Changes since 2002! I'll never go anywhere else they have incredible staff no matter what I'm going for I'm happy with the result every time!! Knowledgeable staff I've even trusted them to pick a style for me and been happy every time!! I have also picked a different stylist every time and let me tell you they are all great!! The I've had a total of 13 different updo's for events over the years and they have all come out fantastic and with no headaches during or after the event's.
I went to Changes in December to get a free haircut when I donated 12 inches to Locks of Love. I have since been back several times, as Ceal did such a great job. This Saturday was my son's graduation party and I had it cut right before hand, I had many complements of the way my hair was cut thanks to Ceal. I highly recommend this experienced stylist.
