I have been looking all over for decent chicken with garlic sauce for a while now and haven't found a place around here...till now! It was delicious and spicy and flavorful. Even the rice was good. It wasn't dry and crumbly. Had the egg drop soup as well, which was good. I'm just so happy to have found my go-to place for when I get a craving. The servers were fast and friendly and the food came quickly. Can't wait to come back!
This is the best Chinese food my mother and I have had in a few years. Not since we ate in Washington DC. The amount of food you get for lunch was incredible. We ate for cheap, and yet I still had enough food leftover to take with me.
The egg rolls were light and crisp, and the vegetables inside still had a little crunch to them. I had the sesame chicken; the batter and sauce were nice and lightweight. All was super delicious! We even had a pot of Jasmine tea that was beautifully aromatic and delicious.
Highly recommend this place. The new owners are super nice.
The food was so good we had to go back today! We had both the Hot and Sour as well as the Wonton soups today, delicious! It was included with lunch along with crab Rangoon wonton, crispy egg roll and entree. I ordered the Cashew Chicken and my daughter got Beef and Broccoli that she had them make spicy. Fantastic!!
We also got to try the special egg rolls, that were crispy and moist on the inside, you must try it.
They also redesigned the menu and added new items.
What an awesome find! I just moved here from Virginia and have eaten at many restaurants serving Chinese food and this is the best I have had in years. I ordered Hunan chicken and my daughter got Sesame chicken and both were tender, not a heavy sauce that some places do, but perfection! The egg rolls and cream cheese wontons were perfectly crisp, the veggies inside the egg roll were also perfect and not mushy.
We also got a pot of hot tea which happens to be our favorite flavor, jasmine. I highly recommend this place. This is truly an asset to Thornton and the state of Colorado.
We have been going to Chan's since the early 90's. Love everything that we ordered. In the past couple of years there are new owners, and they have changed some of the recipes. While it is still good, I do miss some of our old favorites.
I ordered this for delivery and it was my first experience with the restaurant- I can't believe it's been nearby to me for years and I hadn't had it. Top 3 best Chinese food I've ever had in my whole life. Everything so fresh and bright, and just so quality and good. I like that their website lists oyster sauce specifically in some dishes so you can make an educated guess on which ones don't have it. I'll be a repeat customer!
Amazing food. Potstickers were probably the best I've ever had. Lo Mein was amazing. Lemon chicken was delicious. Edamame, egg rolls, and all 3 cups of soup were fantastic. Great service too. Thank you!
The service was speedy! I got my order in less than 10 minutes but upon tasting I was very disappointed. I ordered the appetizer sampler and sesame chicken dinner plate. Everything seemed to be store brought and deep fried. The worst egg rolls I ever had. The sesame chicken was mainly deep fried breading except for larger pieces.
The new owners are amazing! The food was delicious as well. I’d highly recommend!
