This morning, I visited Chaka’s in south Denver. The Restaurant is clean and the staff is friendly. They serve handheld burritos to go for $4.25 with tortilla, eggs, potato, cheese, chile and choice of breakfast meat, a great value. The tortilla was kind of stale and tough. They wrap them flat style without the ends tucked inside the burrito. There’s appropriate equal amounts of egg cheese, meat and chili. I ordered the bacon which is bacon bits. I ordered half and half chili which is flavorful but, not spicy. I wish there was more chili and fillings inside. For the price it is a great value. Great atmosphere.
After so many years in bussiness they are still top notch every time! Food is always very fresh and delicious! Very great customer service too :) Thank you guys!
Decided to try a recommendation from a co worker. Margs were good, not too sweet. We went on Valentine's Day and they had a couples special going on so we went with the fajitas. Very good! The special included a meal plus desert which we chose the cheese cake (delicious). On top of that they brought out chocolate covered strawberries to help promote the specials extending into the weekend! The place is small and packed but Service was good a quick!
It’s 3/2/24. I just left this spot and ordered veggie fajitas w shrimp. It’s unfortunate because the reviews are why I chose this restaurant. The meal left so much to be desired…. Like salt. And salt. There was no salt on anything. The beans just tasted like black beans. No garlic no salt. The veggies and shrimp… all flavorless. Bland. Not even a little bit of flavor. $25 bucks for… nothing. More than half of the food was unable to be eaten. Lastly, there was a French fry in my fajitas veggies. I won’t be back. Oh, the guacamole was tasty.
Amazing service as soon as we walked in the door, very attentive very professional and kind. The restaurant is very clean as well and a very nice staff.
The food was absolutely amazing and taste great I didn't have to add any salt or pepper or seasoning to anything.
My wife is from Albuquerque and said this was Amazing as well.

Wish we lived in Denver, we'd definitely be regulars. Service was exceptional 2nd to none....food was bomb....dessert was YUMMMMMMY!!!! And the mango tequila shots was bombskis. Thank u Chakas...hope to visit again soon????????????????
This is a great place.
I am very hard to please with mexican food.
Margs are good. Salsa is great.
Only like 15 tables so come early and be prepared to wait.
Everyone who works here is super sweet as well.
