Certified Auto is AWESOME! I highly recommend them. I'm a HVAC service technician. So I know about customer service. These guys are great. I've taken my vehicle to them three times now. Every time has been unscheduled. Every time they've had it done right & correct by lunch time. One of those times it was 157 dollars under what they quoted me.
This was the first time that I've used Certified Auto Repair. I was going to take my car to Bird Kultgen but the earliest appointment I could get with them was Oct 2nd. So I looked for an alternative and when I read all the positive reviews Certified Auto Repair had received, I felt confident about taking my car there. I received same day service. I was pleased with their work and price. I highly recommend them. Also, they were only 5 minutes away. Thank you Certified Auto Repair for taking such good care of my car.

I had work done on my car w/ Certified Auto in 2019, a new battery.
In July 2019, my car would not start. I called Certifed Auto and the car was towed to them. The shop manager was upset and said, "I have worked on this car for 4 hours and we are losing money." He was angry.
I talked with Lesley and I had the non repaired car towed home.
Days later a mechanic friend arrived from Dallas, he found and fixed the problem in 5 minutes.
I wrote a letter to all 4+ auto shops that did poor work on this old car. It was not vindictive letter, malice towards none, it was meant to inform only,
Yes, I sent a check to Lesley for the non repair and he called and thanked me.
I did no harm to Certified Auto.

They always take great care of any repairs we have. They operate business in a timely manner with courtesy and skill. I would recommend them highly for all your vehicle needs.
This is your first stop. I got the recommendation from Graves Muffler that Certified Auto Repair is the best in town and trustworthy. I had issues with my battery. The owner was very friendly and professional and ensured that I was taken care of fully. The tech's were also professional and the garage was clean and kept. While I was waiting, his customers came in and he was willing to give his advice (one person wanted to buy a new truck and was asking about the rust) and he gave it honestly with no charge. I also needed my radio to be fixed (this was probably causing trouble to the battery) and he fixed it no charge. He values his customers and wants them to return. I will always go and recommend Certified Auto Repair first. Please call them first if you are having car problems.
Took my car here late May/Early June 2021. They do not communicate with each other. Asked for them to call with price before fixing the car. The guy I spoke with on the phone said they would. The 2nd guy I talked to on the phone never got the message to call with price first, so it was fixed and then and I was called and told what I owed. Sometimes things just happen and this was not enough for me to not want to try them again.
Now it's Nov 2021 car is overheating again and I called and had it towed to Certified Auto Repair again.
I spoke to someone (they never give their first/last name) advised car being towed in, updated my phone number, and asked that they call me with a price. My phone number was new to me and the morning it was to be towed I called back and spoke to who I believe is same guy. Corrected the phone number. I asked if he could check the coolant line to see if it was blocked and the belt first....never got to finish the sentence, he cut me off said in a clipped tone "Just let me do my job." I told him he didn't have to be rude it was just a question. He started to back-peddle and said he wasn't rude (he was). My car arrived at 7:30 am and he did not even look at it until after 4 pm when he told me he was trying to find problem. Then I realized this is why they didn't want me waiting in the waiting room, they were pushy about my remaining at home. If you stay, your car gets fixed same day unless it's an enormous problem. If you stay home, they delay looking at the vehicle and keep it overnight. I had to call him after 4 pm because he never bothered to call to give any updates, to say he was busy and may not get to it until late today..nothing. I said I needed the car back tomorrow and he wouldn't say anything, just silent. Bringing my car back here seems, at this point, to have been a big mistake. I will update this tomorrow.
We absolutely love these guys. I started using them when I was single and they always treated me so respectfully, were prompt and trustworthy. As a lady who doesn’t know much about cars, that sure did mean a lot. Then I introduced my now husband to them, and we won’t have anyone else work on our vehicles. We trust them completely and they do amazing work. They get to know you, they care about our family and they try to work around our schedule with kids etc. on repairs.
