Food was pretty and tasted good. The atmosphere was awesome bery country rustic. They have a small arcade. The waitresses did not come around alot. They seemed to be hiding in back almost and it was a slow time we went.
This was by far one of the best restaurants we’ve been to. The steak is well seasoned and cooked to perfection!! We got boiled crawfish and they we AMAZING! They had a lot of flavor but they didn’t make your nose run everywhere. my husband got the fried catfish with crawfish étouffée (my husband is super picky about his étouffér and he loved it) The staff were all super friendly and it was overall a good environment! we will definitely make a weekly visit here! 10/10 recommend!!!
Super friendly atmosphere from the hostess to the server and manager. The food was delicious and very well seasoned. We ordered the seafood platter and the crabcake garlic butter fettuccine, with added shrimp. We will definitely be back soon.
The food is great. The only reason I give it 3 stars instead of 5 is because the service sucks. This was our 2nd time trying it and both times, the service was just terrible. My 9 year old daughter asked "is there a kids catfish?" The server said yes...but still brought us a large catfish. Our server was sweet, just not very attentive.
I have eaten at this restaurant more than once, giving it an honest chance, and only once was I happy. I feel that I now have to review and rate it. This time I ordered out getting The White Boot. I appeared and tasted as though it had been fried in old oil and overcooked. The catfish still had silver skin attached giving it a not so pleasant taste. The rest of the seafood was rubbery and left coating of oil on your hands and in your mouth. Was dark and unappealing. Also, there were no condiments included
This was my second time patronizing this restaurant. This time only because it was a business dinner.
I will say each African American person in our party that walked in was stared at, and I mean folks stopped and stared. I felt like I was interrupting a Klan meeting. I have friends and family of all races, and I have never felt so uncomfortable.
The waitress was nice but overwhelmed.
The manager/owner did apologize to the Caucasian folks sitting at the table with us ‘only’ ???? for the wait time.
I wouldn’t advise anyone who is not Caucasian to patronize this restarting as we are not wanted. ????
Tonight was mine and my family's first time to eat here. The food was amazing. Everything was cook the way we asked and didn't have any problems. The service was good. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone. We will be going back. ????
The food and service are always amazing. We had my daughter's 40th birthday lunch. Everyone was amazing and helped make everything perfect.
