Ive been a loyal customer since 2009 almost 15 years. Today I tried the milanesa cemita and the meat was so thin it was practically breading. There was very light portion of quesillo. Not like before. I understand prices are supposed to rise with the economy but I think the quality should remain. "And there was no papalo" not in season.
4 single meat cemitas with 4 cokes $77. Hope it was just a bad day.

its over priced and not flavorful
. don't recommend any plates ..i got the mole plate and also the mole enchilada plate it was bland we literally did not eat it also we got a huitalcoche & chicharron quesadilla that was good
Really good, not much else to say! Definitely an east LA staple - the green salsa could be better but the other salsa is sooo good and spicy! I got the quesillo cemita and my bf got the carnitas cemita both aguas were really yummy it was a little pricey! We also got the platanos Fritos which were actually okay! Cemitas for sure are worth it though
Was in the area and decided to give this place a shot…… OMG I’m glad I did. The food was so good, I don’t even know how to explain it. Do yourself a favor and just go. Thank me later!! The portions they give oh my God I was so stuff. Not only is the food amazing but the staff are all so friendly. Definitely coming back when I’m in LA.
This place was fine. I wish I could rave about it a little more, but I found their tortas to be a little dry. Inside, you will find small tables with Mexican soap operas in the background. They also sell small Mexican candies if you're craving something sweet. The cheese, however, was excellent. I'd return for a quick bite and nothing more.
Absolutely my favorite cemitas when visiting the area. Friendly staff and quick service. Parking is limited so be ware if visiting during peak hours. Goodies for sweet cravings and a variety of sodas available.
Small homie restaurant. First time trying Cemitas as a sandwich. I ordered the milanesa cemita. It was so good! So fulfilling! I also ordered a quesadilla de chicharrón, they are big!
The horchata was delicious and refreshing, it wasn’t too sweet. Probably the best horchata I’ve had in a while, but aside from that the food could be better. The picaditas were a bit bland. The green salsa gave it some flavor.
