NEVERRR EVERR coming back to Celestial Cafe!!! I wish I could give this place a negative star! I drove 35 minutes for slops. I’ve been to this restaurant about 4 times this year. One time dine in earlier this year, which was good. I tried takeout 3 different times and this was it for me! I noticed they will give you what they have left and not what you ask for. Either they are out of sides way before the kitchen closes or they will give you scraps instead of having integrity with what they serve you. Each time I noticed the decline in the quality of food but I gave them excuses and continued to support. Lesson learned, I'm done.
My food platters were AWFULLLLLL!!!!! I wouldn’t even feed this food to my dogs. One order was completely wrong and the other they straight up robbed us. For one order, they gave me big jumbo under cooked wings and fries when I asked for jack daniels wings with collard greens and sweet potatoes. Had to trash the whole platter! I called to let them know but this was before I opened my second platter. At this point I’m thinking this was a joke! For the whiting platter I received 2 very very small pieces of whiting (I did pick at it to give it a try), the sides were disgusting. No flavor and barely cooked! The menu says 3 pieces of whiting, so why did I receive two? I trashed the whole platter! I wasted my gas, time and money. This is the second time I feel robbed by them. This is the second time my food was completely unacceptable. That’ll do it!

Took 2 tries but food and drinks were very good!! First visit was less than expected however the owner made sure my second visit was worth it!!

The food is awesome the drinks are good shout out to Shawn Jackson, / Kim awesome bartenders. They have an awesome hostess name Cheryl which is the owners Phils sister they are awesome. I fell in love with this place and I promote this place I’m a very hard person to please but celestial Café sold me on day one when I walk through the door

Notice on nice days folks out on the balcony. Food was 7/10 rice is dry and some pieces were hard. The food and drinks are a little pricey. It’s not a sports bar /Lounge. My main concern and issues are as follows… We had one person making drinks, serving and running around the entire restaurant. I honestly felt bad for her…. More staff is needed for this place to run smoothly. Food took awhile to come out… The DJ music selection was very nice! Shortage on alcohol and I didn’t have a receipt to sign or tip the poor girl. Her customer service overall was beautiful. I wish I could’ve got her name. I may give Celestial cafe another try in a few months. I’m hoping to see more staff and organization!
Visited on 2/17/22 at 5:15pm. Was looking forward to supporting this establishment with 3 of my friends. I've heard great things about the food. We were greeted by a very nice lady who provided us with water. She left and unfortunately the next hour all we had was that cup of water. No drinks, no food so we decided to leave. No explanation, no apologies. I hope that this was just a bad night however it appeared that the women behind the bar needed some management assistance. There did not appear to be anyone there except those 2 ladies to service customers. Mind you it wasn't crowded. There were folks that came in after us that were sitting at the bar, and they were given drinks while all we had was a little cup of water. Time management and customer service is imperative to make an establishment flourish. Very disappointed in my experience.
Waste of $62 and a long trip into the city. The everything eggs rolls had little filling and tasted old. The crab egg rolls tasted mostly of mustard with the consistency of mush in the middle. There was very little crab and both egg rolls were small. The prices online were also significantly different than the ones in the restaurant. The catfish sandwich had the biggest piece of fish with the smallest sandwich bread ever. Once again I went out of my way to support a small business only to be dissatisfied and disappointed. I will not patronize this business nor go out of my way for any business again.
I saw this place on IG and thought WOW I would like to try this place with a few friends and we could sing karaoke. I arrived with 3 friend on Wednesday. As soon as we sat down i asked do you have any specials and when does Karaoke start? We were informed by the WONDERFUL bartender that the Karaoke person is not coming and only specials are on Thursday and Friday. The TV was not on, the kitchen ran out of wings, and people came in and walked out. They actually started turning out the lights while we were there. It was very disappointing to say the least.
