Today not only did I get my first tattoo yet a matching one with my daughter. To say I was nervous was a understatement. This was our first visit to a nearby tattoo studio that luckily took walk ins on a Sunday. The owner Tennakey was both professional and calming. He made sure I was pleased with the size and placement of the font. By the time I sat in his chair I was relaxed and committed to the experience. The tattoos turned out even better than I expected. Whether it be your first or 15th tattoo, I would defiantly recommend giving this studio a visit.
Absolutely horrible experience. This is a black owned business so please read… I got a hand tattoo by the owner! I asked him to use a stencil but he insisted on doing it free hand! After the tattoo healed I noticed a lot of random lines in my tattoo (see photos) so I went back up to the shop to have it fixed. When I told him I wanted my tattoo fixed he says that I’m disrespecting him by saying there are random lines in my tattoo. He then calls another artist to the front to look at the tattoo, the artist agrees that my tattoo has random lines and it wasn’t shaded properly. So the owner asks me what I want him to do, I tell him I want my money back. He says no refunds, cool… then I told him to just let one of his other artist fix it… he says no because i was being disrespectful. He was yelling and cursing being disrespectful, So of course I get upset and demand my money back.. this man threatens to call the police if I don’t leave his shop now, so I say ok call the police. This man then walks to the back of the shop then walk back and threatens to throw me out…so you know what that means? He went and got a gun. What happened to calling the police? Did I mention I’m a women? I’m a paid customer and I can be upset that he messed up my tattoo but for him to change the narrative as if I did something to him is very disturbing and frightening.
I love supporting black owned business but this shop is no better than getting a tattoo at someone’s house. No AC, no heat, no lights.
Tennakey is awesome. He did a cover up for me. He was quick & cool as he##. I was nervous so he laughed and talked with me the whole time to keep me calm. I love my tattoo. I will definitely be back.
Great Customer Service and Amazing chill atmosphere to be around!! The artists there is Great at what he does, ï highly recommend going there for any ideas or choice of tattoos to be done ????????✨
Today I Got My Very First Tattoo. I Was So Nervous. Memphis Was So Nice And Gentle. He Made Me Feel Relaxed And Calm. I Love My Tattoo!! His Work Is The TRUTH!! Thank U Memphis!! Can't Wait To Return To Finish My Sleeve.
Best tattoo experience I’ve ever had. Ten was fast with his work, never lacked on detail, and went above and beyond to bring my ideas to life.
Will be returning to finish the rest of my arm
Paid that dude Ten $13,000 only to be disrespected, stuff is crazy how you try to show people respect only to be disrespected.
Fake lol you wild, I got receipts on my cash app home boy don't make me post all the money I paided you over time that added up to that. And on top of that you was unprofessional and was always late for appointments I was on time for and I should have called and talked to you. Dude are you serious, it ain't no talking or reasoning with people like you with a ego and with all the disrespect. Then on top of that I purchased saniderm, for every time I come in for a tattoo session for you to use that for me and not for other people and you lied about that. And it's more to all this
10/10 would recommend! Ten gave my tattoo life again! Quick and professional. Definitely going back!
