Very professional, I was nothing but pleased . Cecelia (my braider) was polite, professional, and faster than anyone who had ever braided my hair. My hair is neatly braided. I love it . I would absolutely return.
I called to book my appointment. I was told that I would receive a text with the address. I didn’t get the text until 2 days later…after I inquired about my appointment. Obvious ???? but I proceeded anyway against my better judgment. So I arrive to my appointment and she is not there. I was let in by her mother and told to have a seat in the chair. As her mother began to braid my hair, the stylist arrived. I was told that because my hair was short, I would be have to pay $220 for small braids…I said that’s fine and she proceeded to do my hair. About 5 hours later another customer arrives and she gets up and starts on their hair. I’m shocked because she’s done putting braids in my hair, but they still have to be braided to the ends. Her mother steps in and braids them down. She then says that I’m almost done and I only needed my ends dipped. I asked her if she was going to clean up the braids by trimming the fly away hair. She said the hair would lay down after she puts mousse on the braids…which isn’t true. I insisted that she clean up my braids and she did. She hands me the mirror to inspect. The front looks good. I pay and leave. It’s been about 4 days and my hair isn’t so tight anymore and I realized that one side of my head seems fuller than the other. I get a mirror and look at the back of my head…there are really large parts with small braids. IT LOOKS HORRIBLE!! It’s unprofessional and dishonest to charge people for a service that you didn’t provide. Will never go back and definitely would not recommend. ????
I showed up for my appointment, which was pre scheduled for the very first thing in the morning. She wasn't even there yet. I sat and waited for 30 minutes. She finally arrived and said she had been taking her daughter to school. After she was done braiding, I finished what wasn't completed as she started braiding someone else. She was friendly, but unprofessional. Disappointing experience.
I am disappointed and upset on how this lady chose to her business. We agreed on a price of $90 dollars, She asked for a deposit which she stated was refundable. I understood. I did not have the hair I payed for that which I understood. She then asked me to pay the remaining $50. I told her that I would pay the remaining balance when her service is complete. She informed me that it was per her management that I pay the balance before I could “pull up” (her words) I tried to come to a comprise and pay her half then when she was finished with her service I would pay the remainder. She refused. By this point I had already given this lady $95 (not to mention she tried to get me to pay another $20 for a product that I did not need). I needed my hair done so I could not walk away at this point. I payed her the remaining $25. When I reached her “place of business” she asked me give her another $30 for something that was UNRELATED to me or the service I asked for and that she would pay me back cash. Having already paid FULL AMOUNT for a service I have not yet received and now you she was asking for another $30. She refused to come out. She refused to give me my money. By this time I did not trust this lady to do my hair. This was extremely unprofessional. I should be fully refunded or refunded in partial as I did not receive the service that was promised. I would like to be contacted by the “management” to come to some kind of agreement, or comprise on how this situation can be solved.
I gave a difficult explanation on how I wanted my box braids and these ladies got it perfectly! Very sweet and hardworking. I will definitely be back when it’s time to redo mine. I’m recommending this place to everyone! ❤️
Cecilia was friendly and quick. She informed me to let her know if any braid being installed felt too tight. I didn’t experience any pain and my braids look great. I will return.
Cecilia was ready to work as soon as I walked through the door and delivered prompt professional service. She provided the braiding hair which cut out the hassle of going to the store and had a wide variety of colors to choose from. She made me very comfortable during the process and listened to exactly what I needed her to do. Her braiding space was very clean and neat which further added to my comfortability. I will be using her services in the future and recommending her to others whom need braiding services.
First thing first Cecilia is FAST yet tidy at braiding hair ... I have MAYBE 2 and a half inches of hair
And Cecilia was able to COMFORTABLY give me microbraids ... On top of all that she was able to squeeze me in same day LAST MINUTE .... My daughter came along and she was very kind and patient to my child ...
Plus she doesn't mind interacting and having a conversation with her client
I only gave a 4 Stars because her salon is in her home ... off in it's on separate space and room And if your against "Kitchen beauticians" you may find only that a problem ... Other than that Cecilia is more than that
She's great at what she does !!!!! Her attention to detail is on point .... She's down to earth !!!!! And I really enjoyed my time !!!! ThANKS CECILIA ????❤️????❤️
