My experience there was horrible to start off with I had a 360 frontal where she put glue all over my edges not once but twice because the first time it dried. I didn't say anything because these women went to school for this I would think they know how to protect your hair. I ended up having to take my hair down because the glue was pulling on my edges.After taking my hair down I found that all of my bundles were not installed onto my hair. I called the owner and explain that two of my bundles were missing and she said do you think someone took your hair. I said no I believe she didn't want to sew in all the hair but she kept on talking over me which is another thing they are very rude and unfriendly. I had stress to the women sewing my hair that I wanted all the bundles sewed in and I believe she left them out because she had been complaining how tired she was in Creole. The owner did nothing to solve my problem and really didn't care. I would not advise anyone to go there. They have very poor services and really don't care if you are satisfied or not. I would suggest you not waste your time nor hard earn money on this shop. She could have easily went back and asked her staff if there was any left over hair left around. She is clueless about customer service.
The owner was very unprofessional. She allowed her friends to skip her clients. There is no type of cleanliness. The workers do not wash their hands after working from client to client. I asked a simple question regarding a product she was using on my hair. She did not give me any actual answer. After taking the sew in off, I noticed a lot of hair loss due to the strong clue she used. The overall wait is long. Even if you show up extremely early. The owner was super late. If you are thinking about getting your hair done I would think it through. There are better places in west palm/Miami.
Apparently she doesn’t do U-part wigs but as her customer I wasn’t aware of that, they had the audacity to tell me that i had to buy a new wig after I already spent hundreds on the one I had. And I did not get my deposit back after not getting any service. Also it’s pointless pay and book an appointment when the walk ins can come skip you .and to top it off customer service was horrible and hard to interpret.
My experience was atrocious, I got there at 3:00pm and didn’t finish until 11:00pm. Ceece was rude and unprofessional. She was in the shop speaking to her friends in Haitian creole about how she doesn’t like doing hair. She also said she doesn’t even want her daughter doing hair. She took so many breaks when she had at least 8 people waiting to get their hair. She moves slower than a snail, and has zero respect for other people’s time. Ceecee only cares about getting your money, she doesn’t care about your natural hair or your extensions. Her employees over bleached my lace and she didn’t replaced it, she is very selfish. Please save your time and money, you will regret going to “Glam City” salon.
Cancel any plans you make that day, your appointment time means absolutely nothing because you don't start until at least 2hrs after the appointment time you paid for. Service is rude and unprofessional. They have no consideration for the clients time. Find a different and better stylist as there are plenty in South Florida.
Very slow service's. not a comfortable environment to get your hair done . very expensive and i brought a full lace wig paid well over $300 and she only glued the front of the wig and not the back so the wig was not secure as well as the glue they use on your hair line is like super glue. It took me for ever to get it off and it was painful.
I'm going to be honest she's a wonderful person, but she needs to learn how to run business. It's not professional at all when you gives out appointments for 10a.m or 11 a.m and you don't show up until 12 p.m or 12:30 p.m .And then when you get there you don't start you do other things before you start. Then you put people in head of people that's not right. You have to do better. I love her but she got to stop.
I only give three stars because she slays her wigs and the hair she sells is excellent. However she doesn't take appt and the wait time is absolutely ridiculous. Expect to spend your whole day there. Also the cleanliness could be better as far as sanitation of hair tools which is a huge concern to me. She is a five star stylist nonetheless
