It's a mobile restaurant/ghost kitchen so you have to order from the app and pick it up there or have it delivered. But I will tell you the people inside are so nice and inviting. They will help you out if you have any questions. The inside looks spotless!! And of course the food was fantastic. This was my first experience at a Cava and I'm sure this specific location will be the best place for me to get my meal from now on!
Major fail of a store, no cashier you can only order from the app. They won’t put your food out on the shelf because people steal it but the employees don’t come to the front with any frequency so you just stand there for five minutes looking at your food on the other side of the counter.
That aside the food is tasty, I would give 5 stars if I could order from a human.
I enjoyed the food in regular CAVA restaurants and was excited to find a new shop opening in my area. However, the digital kitchen setup is a major turn off. Customers are discouraged from human interactions. It took 10 minutes to download the app and order the food inside the sterile empty place, and was told by the app that the food won't be ready for 20 minutes.
The service was confusing at best. I felt like the "waiter" because I was waiting for 15 minutes inside the place until someone called and asked my name, while the food had been sitting on the counter behind the "pick up" shelf.
The order was partially incorrect (missing the drink). There were no paper napkins in the bag. Plus the pita sandwich had the liquid sauce flowing everywhere in a loose paper wrap. Imagine what fun it would have been if I had taken the food to a picnic.
I love Cava! They have the best Mediterranean food! I here several times a week. And Carmela at the King St. location gives the best customer service. She really takes her time to make sure that every customer is taken care of and goes the extra mile for us.
Everytime I go to this location (because it's the closest one I have) I receive less and less food, as you can see I took pictures before mixing it and then I moved it all to one side and it was actually half of the bowl, I'm tired of getting awful surprises everytime I go to this location so Good luck if you order here from now on I will not be back to this location.
I will always love CAVA and been a big fan since the beginning. But for the last three orders from this location I noticed that their arugula is not well cut (see photos). Almost choked myself and my toddler eating the arugula. Hopefully this is something to be corrected soon, if not I'd rather go to a different location.
Random homeless guy asked everyone for money right as they were trying to order and the staff did nothing about it. Don't come here if you are on a budget and don't want to get harassed.
I spend hundreds of dollars with CAVA a year, but my past visits have been a serious disappointment; I have to call over the staff every time I've been there for pickup, food is never ready but always cold and undercooked. The portions are disappointing for the price and anything extra ($) is barely noticable. I will not eat from this location again and I suggest driving down the road, to the Foxchase location, where you'll have a much better experience.
