The food was amazing! I was looking for something free from milk, egg, soy, and gluten allergies. They offer exactly such a wonderful chicken dish here called Balsamic Date Chicken. Cava has a clearly made list of allergens on their website, and many things are directly for people with allergies.
OMG ???? They're simply the Best Mediterranean food I've had in DC! My Greek Chicken pita was DIVINE! Oh so full of flavor & toppings! I had them add extra olives, pickled onions & pico to mine! It took a while, but I DID eventually finish it all???? The house made cucumber lime tea went perfectly with my meal & I can't wait for my next trip back to DC!???? Did I mention that my pita was HUGE?!?????
They're also VERY VEGAN FRIENDLY!
The food tastes like it was out of a high-end restaurant! Fresh and delicious. The customisable bowls kept all the family happy. Very kind and friendly customer service. Highly recommend!

By far the best Mediterranean food I’ve ever had. I definitely hit the Mediterranean restaurant lottery! Eight care of my short trip to Washington DC and not leaving until I have it at least once more. I got the braised lamb and white, sweet potato bowl. Absolutely off the charts! Their selection of tea lemonade is also divine. I had a lavender, blueberry tea.
Having never tried this before (as its not in the UK) I wasn't sure if the protocol and I felt quite rushed by the server despite there being no queue behind me. Food was good though, I would get it again. I would probably take out though
My friend and I had the best experience in CAVA at Union station with Matt. He was so attentive, helpful and kind. We’d never had CAVA before but with this great service and fantastic salad, we will definitely be back!
May I begin by saying the staff here treats you like family, whether you're new or a daily regular.
This became my go to spot, especially when I became fully vegan back in April. Not only is the menu freshly made daily, it has everything a vegan needs to fuel up for the day.
Top marks to this establishment, it's management team and staff.
