Food definitely stands up to the reputation. The calamari was the only thing that was iffy being a little too salty. Drinks were top notch. Presentation was great. Good service and lively atmosphere.
Amazing, amazing, aaaamaaaziing!! Each dish we had was incredible. I only wish I had more stomach capacity so I could have tried more of the menu. The restaurant itself is moderately sized- not huge. The tables are kind of close together but it doesn’t matter with food like this. We won’t return for the buffalo burrata alone. We were surprised at the quality and flavors. The food came out quickly despite it being a busy night. It is an open kitchen with seating around the line area. The kitchen staff is in full view of the restaurant and work incredibly efficiently and skillfully. Our server Marissa was so warm and friendly, she made us feel welcome and showed a sense of urgency with getting us out when our toddler started getting fussy. We will be returning for special occasions to come. Best Italian in Denver.

The place is very nice and spacious, the pizza is of poor quality, not even close to the Italian one, after all there are no Italians among the chefs!
Cattivella is hands down the best restaurant in Denver. It is my go-to every time I’m in town from Chicago and I can’t say enough amazing things about the ambiance, food and cocktails. The staff is top notch — Ben is an amazing server and we love having him take care of us when we’re there.
The owner and chef does such an amazing job being visible, mentoring her team and sending out top notch food.
They have the best happy hour in the country — all night on Mondays and 5-6 p.m. other nights. They have regular menu items on their happy hour and these are some of the top menu items!

We tried the Sgagliozze, Buffalo Burrata, the Rabbit Gnocchi, Pasticcio, Lamb Ragu, & a cheese pizza, and everything was INCREDIBLE!
We had a party of 8, and they were able to accommodate us. The food was alright and the service was good. Lots of seating inside and outside. Highly recommend their pizzas.
We came here to celebrate a birthday. The experience and food were just ok. This place inside is well lit but lacks ambiance. I think some nice Italian music and different lighting would help it to feel more authentic.
The food wasn’t that great, I’ve tasted better at places like the Cheesecake Factory which was disappointing.
We ordered the Fettunta, Calamari Fritti, The Ribeye, Charbroiled Oysters, Mushroom Pizza and Rotisserie Chicken. Our table would only recommend the Fettunta. Everything else was either undercooked or lacked flavor.
Additionally our server took a long time to check on us after we received our food, which we needed adjustments and the servers helped and this was consistent throughout the evening.
I wouldn’t recommend eating here but looking for other options for a better cuisine experience.
