Best WLM Reviews
I don't know what happened to this place? They used to have the best food around as far as Asian cuisine goes, I got some fried rice it was terrible didn't see one bean sprout and all the fixings on top nothing but rice at the bottom, and the rice wasn't very good at all, egg rolls I could probably make better myself at home the place went downhill big time I will never eat there again the food is terrible. I got chop suey and I never seen chop suey come in a brown sauce and it was awful
Don't recommend anyone eating that unless they like bad food!
The hot and sour soup here is the best I’ve ever had. It’s hearty and the taste is amazing. The green pepper steak is my go-to for a meal. I was disappointed however when they charged me $2.00 for the little thin wontons that I put into my hot and sour soup. That was a total rip off. Our waitress was great but the lady who seated us was very cold and had no personality whatsoever. She made us feel like we were bothering her. She is the one who charged me the $2.00 for the soup wontons. Regardless, I will continue to eat at this establishment because the food is great.
We love this little “Hidden Gem” in Metairie that is our “Go To” place when we are in the mood for Chinese food. We, along with our friends, always have a nice time when we go for Dinner…
The staff has always been very friendly & accommodating, to the point where they know our names when we walk in the door, even if we haven’t been there in a while. Some of our favorites are the Special Lo Mein, Mongolian Beef, Egg Rolls, & Egg Drop Soup.
It was my first time going there and the waitress was very rude. I asked for a menu and she just stared at me. She was not helpful at all. I ordered Mandarin chicken and the sauce was all over the plate and the waitress spilled it all over the table when she brought it. It did not even taste good.
You don’t get as much food on your plate as some Asian restaurants but it was very good . Lately , we’ve been comparing shrimp with lobster sauce around town at different Asian restaurants . This number 1 for flavor so far , however not number one in the amount or size of shrimp they give you . Personally , I’m into the size , amount , and quality of shrimp on my plate , Very tasty , however . (Didn’t care for the tiny shrimp in my rice or the pink color on my rice. )Atmosphere was lovely but could have been friendlier . Also , feed your fish so it doesn’t want to eat my hair . I asked the name of the fish , the girl said he didn’t have a name . They call it red devil . Gee, how nice . Name your fish for God’s sake . How rude .
Situated at the end of an old strip mall is this indistictive restaurant. But once you walk in you're teleported to elegant 70s era Asian restaurant with relaxing Chinese instrumental music... Unfortunately this lovely Zen environment is crudely interrupted by two giant TVs that flank either end of the dining room showing right wing hateful propaganda. It's a really disturbing contrast that completely destroys the wonderful ambiance of the place. But don't worry.. you won't be here long, because the food is reminiscent of any typical Asian buffet. Not at all impressive or fresh. My shrimp stir fry dinner portion contained only three shrimp.
I will never understand why an ethnic restaurant, celebrating the diversity of immigrants would want to run a bunch of wing nutty propaganda in their dining room trying to convince people that immigrants and immigration sucks.
A long time ago this place was good . I got take out bc it is so close to my work got sweet n sour chicken , not sure what kind of fried rice that was but it was awful, the egg roll had a lot of mustard in it . I don’t know what happened to this place but I was very disappointed and will not be returning . $13.00 lunch plate of nastiness!
This used to be our favorite Chinese restaurant. I don't know why the changed the way they do the fried rice. ????? But the wait staff is pretty good. Now the food is average to food court Chinese food.
