Best WLM Reviews
The food was fresh and hot. Service was outstanding. When you are seated, they drop hot apple fritters at your table. They melt in your mouth. I'd come back for these alone. I had chicken fried chicken. It did not disappoint. Crispy and delicious. When your meal arrives, they come back with hot dinner rolls. Yum! There's a little gift shop inside too.
Went here after some Morrel Mushroom hunting per my friends recommendation, it has a hole in the wall feel. The food was good and the waitress was friendly. We had a good time.
Stopped in to welcome my friend back to the south. What's a better welcome than fried catfish? We both ordered a catfish dinner. To our surprise, we were met with hot, fresh apple fritters and fresh yeast rolls before our meal arrived. The fritters were amazing. Ms. June, our waitresses, was friendly & informative. The food was great, the atmosphere was okay.
Had driven by this place many times, and today was a day we decided to stop in for a quick lunch. We were pleasantly surprised food was delicious and portion sizes were generous and customer service was awesome. Thank you guys for making our experience a great one . We will definitely Be back to enjoy more of the awesome food.
The catfish was excellent. The food was fresh, good service nice atmosphere they had a gift shop. Very pleased overall. Will be back!! ????❤️????❤️
Stood there waiting to be seated in an almost empty restaurant for 20 minutes. When we finally cornered someone who appeared to be a seasoned employee or manager, she said "we'll get to you when we get to you." I responded: "No you won't, because we are leaving." At that point she yelled some snide comment over her shoulder as she walked away. I have been living outside of the area, and this is the first time I've been in in the past 2 years. I loved it back then. That is why we drove 40 minutes out of our way... but I will never darken their doors again.
We stopped while on the road and the food was awesome and very inexpensive. I had to tip better than 25% just because I would have felt like a heel if I didn't. The service was outstanding.
I had the Catfish and added shrimp. Excellent!! I was traveling and passed by. It's worth stopping. The staff is very friendly and professional. Highly recommend.
