The breaded pork tenderloin was huge and delicious. It came with potato chips and a pickle. The pickle was a pickle and the chips were just the cheapest potato chips I've ever had. There appeared to be only one person working so the service wasn't fantastic but expected since it was just one person.
Cataract Lake Lodge is a cozy, laid-back small town lake lodge owned by a local couple Shawna & Jeff Johnson, and filled with a lot of good, friendly people. Most are regulars, but they always welcome new comers with open arms and a smile. They have pool tables, darts, and friendly conversation.
On Friday nights, they have Karaoke with Randy (aka Santa) ????????️ til 2am.
They also have breakfast, lunch, and dinner, so ya don't have to leave hungry!
So if you're looking for something to do, take a road trip out to Cataract Lake, see the beautiful landscape and drop by the lodge. Tell them Courtney's momma sent ya. ????
Ordered food and it was horrible! Burger was burnt, almost everything was tasteless! Good size portions but food was horrible! If their alcohol tastes anything like the food I don’t want it! If I could’ve left no stars I would’ve! 100% will not eat here again. It was so bad my dog won’t even eat it. We had a simple order too! Cheeseburger, loaded nachos, onion rings, mozzarella sticks, and breaded cauliflower. Food looked great but tasted horrible!
We went here for lunch, just happened by it, it was ???? amazing. Wasn’t busy. Good food, reasonable prices and delicious food!
This place is like going home to visit. Everyone is friendly, good is great, the atmosphere is casual, rustic, and warm. Karaoke on Friday nights. Saturday nights the occasional live band. Ample parking, at reasonable prices. This is NOT a "lodge" to sleep, this is a "lodge" as in a brotherhood and or sisterhood. This is a meeting place for friends and family 21 and over to relax and enjoy some drinks, music, and some pool.
We ordered biscuits and gravy with some coffee. It was very good! We always love stopping in on diners in.the middle of no where. Always the best service and food! Thank you for being open!
We are here for girls weekend from Michigan and we’re looking for a place near by for a drink and dinner. We are so glad we picked this place…Shonna the owner treated us like family from the start!!! The service was amazing as was the food…pizza delicious…wings even better!!! The sweet tea is homemade and the best we have ever tasted!!! Recommend stopping if you are staying for the weekend or just passing through!!!
Great bartender’s, good drinks and good food. Place has turned around a lot with the new owner’s. Would have gave it a 5 star but the decor needs some updating and to get rid of the horrible looking stuffed deer in the corner. ????
