My husband and I very much enjoy this restaurant, the prices are comparable to other’s in the airport terminal. Husband got Lamb burger said it was not gamey, light and tasty. I got the spicy tomato soup/ grilled cheese. It’s spicy like black pepper not spicy like red pepper. (Aka not spicy) Was very tasty with the Gruyère cheese on the sandwich!
I 100% recommend this place if you have a layover in Detroit! I ordered the Roasted Chile Omelett I believe. Everything tasted amazing even down to the toast. It really exceeded my expectations. The Bloody Mary was delicious as well and my service was great. I read reviews before my flight to figure out where to eat when I landed and I'm so glad I did. I'll be coming here every time I have a layover in Detroit for sure!
Great dinner especially for being in an airport. Best part was my server Victoria. She was attentive and made the experience great. Best part of being stuck in an airport for several hours.
The hostess was a bit rude with myself and all the travelers wanting to be seated as singles and the food came out slow. I’m a sucker for tomato soup and grilled cheese. The food itself was good, but also something that is hard to mess up. Also took a very long time to get the check. If it wasn’t for the service, I’d give it 4 stars.
Need a quick meal before boarding my flight and decided to stop here since it was righ across from my gate. The service was great and the food was wonderful. My lamb burger was cooked perfect and so flavorful. The fried were great tasted like I cut them and cooked them at home! I will return if I'm ever close by!
The food was okay. Despite how busy it was, the food came out relatively quickly. The burger was cooked properly, and the twice cooked fries were just okay. I've had much better at cheaper places.
However, after the food, comes time to pay. If you can get a server to pay attention to you. I immediately waved over my server, so I could pay, and she quickly said she didn't serve me and kept walking. After waiting several minutes, two other servers stopped by to see if I needed something, and it took them looking up who took my order for my server to come back with the bill. I should have given my tip to the other servers who weren't even responsible for my table, but actual made an effort to help. Fortunately, I don't travel through this airport often.
Sue made the best bloody mary i’ve had in years! taste was absolutely delicious, and she’s amazingly nice & professional! Wish I had one of these restaurants near my house!
The lamb burger is indeed quite good. Nicely charred on a grill, and the twice-baked fries are nice. Not as greasy as typical fries. Meals are a bit pricier than other airport options, but you get what you pay for. Bartenders are attentive and friendly. Or maybe that's just the Midwest ????
